NFL screw job incoming?

I just don't care anymore. I'm going to watch the game and hope like hell my favorite team wins Monday, and if they don't I'll go into off season mode watching golf and hopefully getting a few rounds in. Pop back in here around draft time and see what everyone is whining about, then maybe a few more times in July to keep up on the news. I have less confidence in this years team then I've had in years past teams. I just don't think this team can stay out of their own way. Boy do I hope I'm wrong.
I'm 100% with you on this one. Except I normally pop in once at the beginning of the season, once mid-season, a few times at the end of the season and playoffs.

Why did the NFL create a schedule where, in the playoffs, a team playing on Monday could end up playing a team that played on Saturday. If the Gnats and 49ers win, the winner of the Monday game (hopefully the Cowboys) has to travel to San Francisco. That is a big advantage for the 49ers. Monday playoff games are a terrible idea.
Niners could beat us with 1 day's rest.
Get a grip man.......

I think making the Cowboys play Monday night in Tampa then having them play again the following Sunday, possibly in Philly or SF is tremendously unfair to Dallas - and Tampa for that matter but at least Tampa doesn't have to travel for a Monday night game.

On the other hand, the Cowboys play like dog doo with even a couple of extra days rest so maybe playing on Monday and Sunday will be good for them.

I never really understood the notion that the league wants its biggest ratings draw to lose.
It's either that or accept that the Cowboys simply haven't performed well enough to have postseason success in years. It's a coping mechanism for some folks.

..what I dont get, is how fast they come out with them? Dont these idiots breathe and enjoy the moment?

Not rooting but I think the Giants will beat the Vikings and I think it will be an easy win for the Giants. The Giants aren't the best team, but they play hard all the time. The Vikings are more like Dallas. They often look like they are not ready to play and they don't really play hard in big games.
First postive post from a Cowboys Zone member about the 2022 New York Giants I have seen this season.
Compliments to you, Creeper.

The screw job is incoming but Itll be during the Bucs game where Tom Brady gets all the calls he needs.

Agree with you 100%....said it 2 weeks ago....NY office wants Brady to advance at all costs. Refs will fall in line like good little soldiers.

They don't, but some fans need to believe this so it's all the more glorious a win or a softer landing spot when we lose. It's a failsafe excuse. The other one, that the refs have a not-so-random unspoken but organized agenda against Dallas (some due to Dallas beating their teams when they were kids but magically never applying to the Steelers, Dolphins or Raiders from back then), will materialize shortly. Someone will post a thread highlighting which ref crew will work our playoff game. You know it's a big game around here when people are doing that.

It’s fine on Monday, but assuming we win, that means that we go to Philly (probably) On the following Sunday. That will be our third row game in a row, and on a short week… versus a team coming off of a bye. That will be a tough challenge.

The NFL likes to talk a good game when it comes to fairness, but they continuously screw teams over by giving one side a pretty big advantage in terms of preparation time and rest.

So you think both the Giants and Seahawks lose ? It would not surprise me if 2 of the 3 Wildcards win next weekend .
