No the tight end came over but stayed in a slot alignment. Bell stayed with the announced eligible receiver. I find no fault in that unless they were playing zone.
Let's also not forget that 70, having been announced and then covered up by either one, two or three players depending on which camera angle you look at, made the formation completely illegal. We know he was covered up by #58 for sure but also by #82 and possibly by the receiver. Again hard to say exactly if the last two were on the line or off but there can be no disputing that #58 was.

its one of two things. if 68 was eligible, then the formation was illegal. flag
if 70 was eligible, then 68 could not catch or touch the ball downfield as a reciever. so flag

wither way it was a flag. so Lions need to stop crying. they tried to decieve cowboys and the refs. Dan Campbell admited to it. they screwed up and confused themselves in the process. DONE.
If 68 was eligible, then the formation was fine. But Dallas would know he was eligible.
The formation was illegal because 70 was declared eligible.

No 58 did not declare. But he was lined up in an eligible position and either left uncovered if we are to believe that the receivers being a couple of inches behind the linemen constitutes being "off the ball" as has been argued when speaking of 68. If 68 was uncovered by a receiver being lined up that way then so was 58 which rendered that formation illegal. No matter how the Lions trey to spin it, what they did was illegal and should have been flagged as it was. Period.
No, Sewell was ALWAYS covered on the outside by the WR (who was farther ahead than the WR on Decker's side). The TE was off the ball, as was the WR on Decker's side.
The formation is only illegal with 70 declared eligible and not 68.

Then the receiver at the top was the other end on the line and all of them, including the TE were ineligible while they thought 68 was eligible but not. What is wrong with the formation if 68 is declared as eligible like they wanted?

Let’s be very clear, even back to the point when Campbell supposedly told the refs that number 68 at some point in the game would be reporting as an eligible receiver. All of this was orchestrated and planned, and it’s cheating. Then he sends number 70 out there touching his numbers, which is the signal for I’m going to be an eligible receiver on this play. Whether he gave a verbal or not to confirm it. The fact is that the refs announced to the Cowboys and the entire world that number 70 was the eligible receiver. Then they try and line up as being in eligible, to confuse the refs, to confuse the fans, and to confuse the Cowboys most of all. And then dare the refs to call back the conversion. In my opinion, the refs should be highly commended for standing up to this nonsense, and not allowing to play the stand. That took some cojones to make that call. But it was the right call and they made it. Mr. Campbell you got caught trying to cheat, so shut your mouth and take your loss and move along.
Nothing screams confidence in my players like a complicated game of charades in order to jsut get two yards

They tried to create an unfair advantage by concealing who the reporting player was and deserved to lose for trying to play fast and loose with the rules.

70 put his hand up just as he had done before, they lined up a lineman out wide then motioned him in and sent 3 players to the ref when only one was supposed to report. Screw them!
Dan Scam-pbell got exactly what he deserved. His crooked intentions lost him the game, because when Scampbell was forced to play by the rules the Cowboys beat him.
