hat *agreed.

our QB is in year 8 , we are past 4-5 years mark
Cowboys have never gone for it so they do not have the cap issue that teams like the Rams and Buccs (and soon to be Eagles) do. The Browns are in the middle of a window but the lack the QB to even be a serious team.

Right now, to focus on the topic of this example, you have the Patriots who might very well get Williams, because they have the first overall pick and Williams is considered one of those once a decade prospects, but they have been so bad at roster building that I am not sure they will be able to do anything with it. They are an inferior version of the Chargers right now as it pertains to drafting. The Bengals have been great at drafting so they will likely be able to extend their window a little bit. The Bills might need to do that 1 year reset after this year and then be fine again, and the Eagles will probably be doing their reset in a year or two as well. You cannot be a serious contender for 15 years in a row or you are not a serious contender and are instead a team that is close but not actually there.

Edit: Basically even if the Patriots draft Williams they are so bad at drafting that they will still be bad so they probably need a new GM which means BB will have to be gone.

A decent Oline agaist the 49ers is the key to expoiting their defense.

Hurts has loads of time back there and their playcalling is perfect so far.
