NFL | Super Bowl ratings expected to be low

I heard Troy say during the NFCCG that it seemed like 75% of the fans at SB XXX were Steelers fans.

Yep, and they all went home wiping their eyes and their aces with their Terrible Towels.

This Superbowl is a boring matchup. I'll record it and watch it later if the score looks worthy of my attention.

Both teams look good to me and both are on a hot streak. I think it is going to be better than many think

I won't even watch.

If the Cowboys aren't there I don't care.

I can't stand the Steelers and I am completely "who cares" about the Seahawks.

my brother works for espn and schedules comercials for espn and abc sports, i hope the super bowl gets some viewers or hes getting less money, i know the entire super bowl commercial schedule and breakdown of time. Expect a lot of budweiser commercials, heh.

I have watched every SB that has been played and intend on watching this one as well. No doubt I'm a die hard Cowboys fan but I'm also a fan of the NFL and football in general. To me this looks like a good matchup and I think the Seahawks may just suprise some people who feel they don't stand a chance.

I agree. Both teams looked very strong in the conference finals. Steelers seem to have a broad base of support. And the "will Cowher/Bettis finally get his ring" storyline has some interest.

I am a diehard Cowboys fan. And would love to see the Cowboys in the SB again, sometime in the future.

But to me Superbowl Sunday is a National Holiday. If I am scheduled to work that day, I will take vacation. I have watched it every year for as long as I can remember and will continue to do so.

I usally root for the NFC in the superbowl. And yes I did root for the Eagles last year. The only exception would be superbowl 32. I rooted for Denver because I wanted to see John Elway(One of the greatest) get a ring that was long overdue.

Well, those guys get paid for making predictions based on something...but I'm going to disagree anyhow.

I'm going to guess that as this game draws nearer and nearer, it will be a fairly large draw, and there will be interest in the game.

Pittsburg may be a small market town, but they have a long and somewhat glorious history.

Holmgrin versus Cowher....West Coast offense versus Smash Mouth....4-3 versus 3-4. Two very good defenses.

The #1 seed in the NFC playing underdog to the #6 seed from the AFC.

The league MVP and rushing champion versus the suddenly famous Palamalu and company. The young QB and retiring HOF running back versus a top NFC defense.

I know Seattle is somewhat unknown around the country, but I think Pittsburg will draw in a lot of fans who will be pulling for them and a lot of fans who will root against them.

I think this will be a very interesting and watched SB.

Personally, if this had been the two top seeds, Indy against Seattle, I wouldn't have had any interest whatsoever other than pulling against the Colts.

Only real football fans see that. I mean people will watch because it's the Super Bowl, but alot of what you observed was something only real footie fans would realize, and they would watch anyway.

Should be a decent game though. Im in the Pac-Northwest, it's pandemonium up here...the only 'Hawks fans I respect are the ones rocking the Ricky Watters era jerseys, cuz you know they've at least suffered for a while..

SOMEONE WAS WEARING A BOZ JERSEY!! YES!!

HAHA well they'll get their ratings when the Cowboys get back to the SuperBowl.
