Usually a non-event, but here are the eligible candidates. Draft is July 14th. Think the Cowboys will make a bid on anyone?

Eddie D’antuono, long snapper, Virginia Tech
Ra’Zahn Howard, defensive tackle, Purdue
Jalen Overstreet, running back, Sam Houston State
Tee Shepard, cornerback, Ole Miss
Rashaun Simonise, wide receiver, Calgary
Cameron Walton, defensive end, Concordia

Every once in awhile you see a Josh Gordon or someone in these drafts. Any ex-1st round talents?

No first rounders. I actually doubt any of these guys will be drafted.

Ra’Zahn Howard is probably the most intriguing, he'd be a 1-tech, though.

Tee Shepard has good measurables, but also has a hearing disability that as sacred some teams.

I don't know much about Cameron Walton, but any DE prospect should be vetted.

Simonise is an interesting player in the Draft, though he will probably go un-selected and sign with a team as a free agent. He us a 6-foot-5, 215 pound wide receiver who ran a 4.42 40-yard dash. His size should intrigue teams, but coming from Canada, there is going to be a huge learning curve for him as he jumps to NFL level of competition.

Shepard will be another player to watch, though he is not likely to be selected but could be signed by a team. He is a 6-foot, 190 pound cornerback with solid measurables, which would make him tempting to a team. He also has a 90-percent hearing impairment, which will scare away some teams. Someone will likely give him a look in camp, just to see if they can find a way to make it work.

Do we have any late round draft picks to waste....seems they take flyers on too many late rounds players.......:muttley:.......

The best all time supplemental draft pick?

Reggie White.13 Pro Bowls and HOF.

4 total HOFers, White, Steve Young, Chris Carter, and Gary Zimmerman.

Dallas's performance in the supplemental?
Dismal.

Young, Zimmerman and Reggie White were all part of the USFL dispersal draft. Dallas took the immortal Todd Fowler.

The Commanders, Browns and Saints did their homework, snagging Gary Clark, Clarence Verdin; Kevin Mack, Mike Johnson and Vaughn Johnson and Mel Gray respectively.

Dismal?

We've only made five picks. Steve Walsh was taken with a first rounder. We flipped that for a 1, 2, and a 3

Where is the dismal?

Any reason why a hearing aid wouldn't help with Shepard? Seems like it should -- that's what they're made for . . .

I wouldn't touch Shepard in this supplemental draft.

Yeah I was gonna say when had we even had picks? I remember Josh Brent and Steve Walsh...... We haven't had enough picks to be considered dismal.

Howard was contacted by all 32 teams but I doubt he gets drafted. Overstreet had some legal problems which I believe have been cleared up.

I thought we killed it with the Josh Brent pick.

Brent was a good pick. Certainly worth the 6th. What happened to him could have happened to many players
