2. Tags is not in charge of suspensions -- Gene Washington is. So your claim that Taylor wasn't suspended b/c Tags is a Skins fan is not correct. Tags doesn't oversee suspensions.

Tagliabue does oversee suspensions. Washington is responsible for fining players for conduct during games (unecessary roughness, etc.).

I'm surprised that Sean Taylor did not get a suspension

I haven't read anything on them saying whether or not they laid a final decision on suspending Taylor. From the looks of it, Taylor should be suspended for 1 game considering similar instances for other players have resulted in the same 1 game suspension.

Since Taylor's plea just happened a couple of months ago, they'll probably want a few more weeks before they decide what to do with Taylor. Leo Carson had a similar gun case and they waited until the last week of the 2004 preseason before they decided to suspend him for the first game.
