NFL Teams Draft Interest List

No interest in OL seems strange?

I would not trust this evaluation!

considering we locked up Andre Gurode for big money, spent big money to bring in Leonard Davis, re-signed Colombo, brought in Kyle Kosier as a FA just last year, Flozell is the best LT we can hope to acquire, the team likes the potential of Pat McQuistan, Cory Proctor and Joe Berger, I can see that

i'm going to laugh so had if the lions draft Calvin Johnson

OL being omitted I understand. Gurode, Colombo and Davis this off-season prolly make that a low low priority.

What I do not understand is the lack of DTs.
We really have to get a DT of osme sort in here to back up Feguson.

I would not take OL off the list just yet, with Al Johnson gone I would hope Dallas will look later in the draft for a Center/Gaurd. Lyle Sendlein could be a very good day 2 pickup

This list is nowhere near complete.

From reading over the bios of the players of interest, it looks like we will be adding a true FS with our first round pick. The players mentioned are all first round talent guys. It also looks that we will add another DE to play 3-4 LB, possibly opposite of Ware, in the second round. All the DE's scout as excellent edge rushers. Carpenter may be moving inside. Then we will probably draft another #2/#3 option WR that can return kicks since Skylar Green didn't pan out. All of the WRs can return kicks and should be available with our 3rd round pick, with the exception of Johnson and Jarrett.

I realize that every team would be interested in Calvin Johnson... but when did Dallas "show interest" in him? That would take a heck of a trade to pull off.

Actually, Johnson is expected to slip into the mid 20s. :D

Site had a 3/9/7 date so I can add Spencer as an OLB. Thanks for the info.

Wow, I seriously doubt that happens, But I would take him in a heartbeat if he did slide that far. I would love to see the look on Jerry's face as he scrambled to trade up if Johnson wasn't drafted by pick 16...

Interesting, considering.....

Now that we're getting closer to the draft, expect lots of blurbs about the Cowboys visiting with certain players. Let's kick it off in style, from the RanchReport:
The Dallas Cowboys are planning a visit with Auburn offensive lineman Ben Grubbs, TheRanchReport.com has learned. The Cowboys were also one of a handful of teams that scouted Grubbs during Auburn's Pro Day earlier this week. Grubbs, the current No. 1 ranked offensive guard prospect in the nation according to Scout.com, will also visit with the Washington Commanders.

I think you guys all know that I'm a fan of Ben Grubbs, and even with the signings in free agency so far, I wouldn't mind stockpiling some good young talent along the offensive line. I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with Grubbs.
