NFL Top 10 Dallas Cowboys

After last seasons debacle I'd say Kyle Kozier is undervalued. Not top ten, but last year looked close.

Gurode may not be the best shotgun snapper, but when he's throwing Albert Haynesworth around like a rag doll or Jamal Williams, I want to hear about it or read about it.

He has already done it to both players.

This will be something to revisit during the season. All this talk about what a great blocker Gurode is. Well he better get his hard hat on and block because he's going to see Albert twice this year in all important divisional matchups. If he doesn't perform in those games, to me there's no way his deficiencies in the other aspects of the center position can be ignored anymore.

I got to call shenanigans on this whole article how many passes did Felix catch last season 2-3? :laugh2:

I'm not saying he's not a good receiver but this article is BS

I'm glad you caught that. I noticed that one too.

Many dubious things in the article.

- Saying that Ware has built a reputation for being more valueable than he is.
- Saying Ware doesn't project to a Hall of Fame career. One projects to be a Hall of Famer by Pro bowls and stats, especially on defense.
- Missing the fact that Ratliff was indeed drafted. And of course, the comment that few noticed ...

He's (Marion Barber) still a better pure runner than Felix Jones

Uh, no he isn't. A pure runner means a person who has the best running ability. Barber is a beast but his running ability isn't anywhere close to Felix's. Felix Jones is the better pure runner.

Wasn't Rat a 5th rounder?

I think Rat was a 7th round pick, but regardless, the fact that the author is clueless by calling Rat an UDFA shows how little he knows. That and the fact that he said Ware is weak against the run. My 7 year old nephew could've done a better job.

Since someone pointed out this guy writes on a Foreskin forum explains everything. That simply means he dumber than lint.

I will again prove how much more radical I am at making rankings than these guys.

1. DeMarcus Ware
2. Jason Witten
3. Tony Romo
4. Marion Barber
5. Jay Ratliff
6. Terence Newman (when healthy)
7. Andre Gurode (best center in the NFC, even if he can't snap)
8. Matt McBriar
9. Bradie James
10. Felix Jones (just cause I know something that you don't know)

he said ware will get 5-6 pro-bowls? Um he has 3 ALREADY and he is 26... Not to mention was as close as anyone's been in years to breaking the single season sack record.

Ratliff was not undrafted. This entire article is poor. The writer even says he is biased and then says "Even though dallas is a step behind the other three teams" .... I should have stopped reading right there.

Putting Miles Austin and Felix Jones in our top 10 players makes me think maybe we truly suck.

Neither guy has accomplished anything in the NFL. Even Felix, who has shown great promise, hasn't accomplished enough or proven that he's in our top 10 of players...it's ridiculous.

Flozell Adams should definitely be in the top 10. Let him go down for the season in preseason, and we'll all see just how important he was to our offense. The LT is always one of the more important players on any team.

Backup RB who missed most of his rookie year with an injury? I don't think so.

Saying we're a step behind the Foreskins is like saying the Lakers are a step behind the Clippers. Just an idiot.

A 34 year old guy coming off an injury riddled 2008 campaign, with a history of mental errors - should be ahead of a 23 year old stud back that looked like he was about to score everytime he touched the rock. Nah.

Unbelievably stupid list.

I'm excited about Miles Austin's potential too, but what on Earth has he done to be thought of as our "most valuable" WR?

Ware has "major weaknesses" against the run? That's news to me, and to anyone who regularly watches the guy play.

Ratliff more valuable than Ware... hilarious.

Roy Williams has "never been a #1 WR"? Does this guy ever watch football, like ever?

Romo won't get any better because he's 29? Someone alert Tony. The poor guy should simply stop trying.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

3. Newman
4. Folk

10. Roy Williams "respectfully"

Miles Austin and Felix Jones are the two players that I'm most excited about in 2009. Weird.

Friday May 29th at 8:00 PM Eastern.

Don't miss it. I sure as hell hope they have Landry in it. It is the "Top 10 Cowboys of All-Time". It said nothing about players exclusively.

I'll capture this and see that it is seeded at Cowboys Media via One Swarm. :)
