The National Football League players union is funding a 10-year, $100 million research project at Harvard Medical School to reduce the impact of on-the-field injuries and improve the long-term health of players.

They will go as far as the TV folks allow them to. Once ratings start falling, the Networks will tap the breaks on this whole thing and this will all die down. At least, that is my opinion on the subject.

Yes, I've thought along those line, too. Funny thing is the networks seem to part of the consensus machine cranking out and distributing the football reformation meme. I say they better be careful, because they just might get too much of what advocate.
