Yikes!

NFL on the Moon. They are running out of ridiculous money grabs.
In the UK, they have not looked after the core fans who supported the international games. Ticket prices remain high and there is no loyalty scheme. I went to the Jags game at Wembley last year and I noticed that there were a lot of young couples attending on a day out. They all had a great time, But in the past the stadium would have been full of 100% NFL hardcore fans. Now there was an element of a 'day out'. Maybe the NFL wants that as the stadium was full.It has become very easy to follow the NFL overseas in tbe past10-15 years. TV coverage is similar to the US.
But older NFL fans overseas are the most committed on the planet. In the 80s and 80s it was very easy for Americans to follow the NFL. Overseas fans had to spend money and go out of their way to get basic coverage - takes a lot more commitment.
Also, most of the real hard core fans outside the US are involved or have been involved in the sport at grassroots level in their country. Playing or volunteering with amateur clubs/leagues. Paying for everything, including equipment, training venues and transport to away games. Constantly fund raising for the basics. Something that is alien to.most Americans who've played the sport.
Yeah. Players flying charters are really gonna get beaten down.clearly they have player safety in mind with this announcment
That's a shame. Ive been to a few London games over the years and the best part is the festival atmosphere - meeting people from all over Uk and Europe who are involved at grassroots level. Always loved spotting people wearing their local club jerseys. In the UK, they have not looked after the core fans who supported the international games. Have you made the flight from Dallas to China? I have, 16 hours and it sucks unless you are in first class....business is slightly tolerable but coach blows.Yeah. Players flying charters are really gonna get beaten down.
Exactly. I don’t like it at all. Travel is hard on the players, if the players are tired there’s could be more injuries, more injuries damages the product on the field. They are running out of ridiculous money grabs.
