That's a bit extreme. What is a game changing play? LOL When is a sack EVER meaningless especially with how many yards we give up?

I would not say a sack is meaningless and hope I did not imply that. If so I made an error. The eyeball test is what I rely on and when I see certain players it seems to me they are not only making plays at key times (3rd down, last drive, momentum busters), but offenses are also then scheming against them. That to me is having an impact. Conversely, Ware seems to me recently more like Orakpo or other players that get their numbers but don't disturb the function of the offenses they face. I think teams used to game plan Ware and to me they now just match him up often in one on one.... when he is on the field.

It seems like he just looked at the top 5 sack leaders on NFL.com. If he was talking about best careers of players still in the league, then he should have included Ware, Allen, Freeney. If he was talking about best still in their prime, then he should have included Von Miller, Aldon Smith and JJ Watt. It seems like he gets too caught up in this season. JJ Watt is having a down year but he's still great. And it isn't Smith and Miller's faults they've missed games this season.
