They may think they need both as injury insurance for each other.
this is a really good move for them and bad for us
When you don't pay a qb high money....
It's an incredible duo, but since they can't play next to one another on the field, it's curious to invest SO much at the running back position. You pay $21 million guaranteed to Murray, but only intend on giving him the ball maybe 17 times? Hey, this thing could work out perfectly for them but it strikes me as odd on the surface.
I think Chip is hedging his bet that one of them is going to get injured so might as well have two of them just in case.
I wouldn't have thought that Chip Kelly would have the best running back tandem in the league while we have Joseph Randle and Dunbar.
I thought the Eagles were a pass happy team. Kind of surprised.
They are paying Sam Bradford 12 million this year. That's not exactly chump change.
Compared to Romo's 27m cap charge....

We got Ryan Williams, who I really like, but was on the practice squad the entire season. We got the Underwear Bandit and Dunbar.
We got this.
They can dump all their money into offense while ignoring their horrid secondary (and no, Maxwell doesn't change that).

Something like Murray + PHI 1st (#20) + PHI 3rd for JAX 1st (#3) ?
