Didn't Dallas have Herschel Walker and Tony D in the same backfield once upon a time? I don't think it worked out well.
It's an incredible duo, but since they can't play next to one another on the field, it's curious to invest SO much at the running back position. You pay $21 million guaranteed to Murray, but only intend on giving him the ball maybe 17 times? Hey, this thing could work out perfectly for them but it strikes me as odd on the surface.
I agree, it is really scary, plus I think IF Bradford can stay healthy he'll be really freaking good too.
BUT at the same time, they have a ton of money now invested in Bradford, Murray, and Matthews who all have injury histories. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
