lol Deion,..we cut his buddy so he's going to bash us no matter what, we could win the SB this year and Deion would be on NFLN talking about how we should have won it more

You know, I have to laugh when people get upset over things these guys say.

1. They have insight only to a degree that they have played the game and studied it. Some of what they say is conjecture.

2. The idea that some teams have faired well without a Super Star WR is true. But if you look at the EXACT circumstances here, we are entering a year when we are replacing both the #1 and #2 Wr with unknowns.

Neither of these guys scares the defense at this point.

Who should be scared is the fan who lives and dies over this team.

Unfortunately most fans are making excuses for the team before they see the product.

But Warren Sapp said something a couple of months ago that is the truth.

Going into the game with Dallas, what WR makes you focus on that guy and causes you to worry about stopping him?

The dynamics for Witten will surely change because TO is not here. Regardless if you believe it or not.

As it stands on the 28th of May 2009 this team does not have a threat at WR who is a playmaker.

That might change.

But ya know....it also might not. And that scares the crapola out of me.

The final 65 minutes of game clock from last season are among the worst 65 consecutive minutes of game clock in the history of the franchise.

... and that happened with Owens on the team.

It is very reasonable to be pessimistic about this team.

But because they stunk when Owens was on the team, if they stink again next year, I'm not going to blame it on Owens being gone.

Bingo.

This team has a lot to prove. It doesn't deserve much in the way of "love" from commentators to the fans themselves.

Just like I shared with someone via PM not long ago, this team flat-out quit... QUIT.

I don't think they deserve the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise. If I was a commentator I'd bust on'em too.

:hammer:

I feel no desire to defend our guys after what I saw last season. Why should we waste the energy?

For the past few years commentators have been annointing these guys the as Superbowl champions before they even played a single game. Now people are expressing their doubts, and for good reason. As Cowboy Chris said after the Rams game, "I saw grown men quit".

I say let these Cowboys actually earn some of the hype for once.

As would I... The butt hurt by fans over what commentators say about a team that, at this point, could justifiably be perceived as 8-8 is amazing.

Your next fact will be your first fact.

My goodness Sapp just looks like a freaking buffoon in this clip with his facial expressions I wanna hit him.
my thoughts exactly.
I loathe that moron.

I pretty much can't stand any of those guys except Faulk and it's a shame that NFL Net is lumping him in that group and forcing him to come down from a level of class and intelligence in order to "mix it up" with those idiots.

why is anyone even responding to this clown?
his name is "cwalk" for cryin' out loud as in "Crip walk".

what are you like 10 years old?
judging by your grammar I'd say not even...

please go back to lurking only.

The more they doubt us the better. We saw what accolades brought us...

These fools need to realize that the 2009 Cowboys will not have to rely on Tony Romo or our receiving corp. We have 3 legitimate running backs who will carry us. Jerry didn't go out and sign another big name receiver because this years team will rely on the three headed monster to win games. :bang2:

I believe that if the Defense is number 1 this year and the offense ain't clicking Jason Garrett going to be the fall guy and I believe that Wade Phillips going to be demoted to just being a Defensive Cordinator and Shannahan might end up the head coach being that he is offensive minded, and that just might be a match made in heaven or the Cowboys could get Gruden as their head coach and Marty Kiffin as their defensive cordinator.

Or the Cowboys could just simply win.
