In regards to Taco he was a solid pick, but I don't believe he has the quick twitch to be a top speed rusher in this league

To be fair, there is some truth to it.

He doesn't have elite athleticism, but he does pass key athletic thresholds that have shown to be good indicators of defensive end performance in the NFL. He had a broad jump over 115 inches and a short shuttle under 4.40. Those numbers plus his size put him in a good group among peers.

Athletically, he compares closely to Ezekial Ansah, albeit slightly less athletic, but bigger and stronger. Ansah had 32 sacks during his rookie contract.

I think there's a argument to be made that Haley was a much better LOLB then he was as a DE here.

Haley played the Elephant (stand up pass rusher) with the 9ers, so he played on the weak side not just on the left. Haley was a pass rusher first and foremost with SF.
