NFLNetwork replay of Cowboys vs Seahawks 2018 Playoff game

Nothing like getting stoked for the season like watching the cowboys playoff game in 2018 against Seahawks

i predict a win
Here in DFW they are showing a new deep blue and then the 92 nfc championship game after on channel 21.

so if anyone wants to see the last time Dallas won a Playoff game on the road, there you go.

This game as well as all the SB wins, other playoff wins in the 90's. The Drew Pearson Hail Mary catch game, other games.
All can be found on You Tube.
As well, a lot of other Cowboys content.

Deep Blue shows used to be on the team website as well. For those not in the DFW area, or can't watch when it airs.

On You Tube in the past 3 weeks I watched, all 5 SB wins. The 92 NFCCG at SF, and a playoff win against the Eagles.
I have not yet watched the 93 or 95 NFCCG's or the playoff wins against GB.

Though I have them all on VHS recorded from back when they were live.

I'm not sure we win that Seahawks game if Jankowski doesn't get hurt at the end of the first half.

I just watched a condensed game and timed the actual play from whistle to whistle. I've heard anything from just under 9 minutes to around 15 minutes, so I wanted to test it myself.

The one mistake I probably made was choosing 2012 Steelers at Cowboys. Big Ben and Romo are notorious for holding on to the ball and extending plays, and this game was no exception. I also counted punts, kickoffs, and penalties. Total actual play time was 14:16. A little higher than I expected.

I have the entire 2003 season on VHS because I was deployed and my dad was sending me the tapes because he didn't want me to miss anything. Thank god for the VHS player I kept in my Alice. J/K... It's not like I was in the middle of a jungle, I was in the Azores, we had a VHS in the barracks and enjoyed the replay of every game. Of course, we also saw every game live on AFTRS. I didn't have the heart to tell my dad he was wasting his time recording the games and sending them to me. Sorry, that story got so long.

Yep...watching it too. I had forgotten this was the game Hearns got hurt in. Terrible!

Dak had some errant throws but the Gallup TD was a thing of beauty. In fact that series was nicely done on his part,
Zeke is a fine RB and I'm glad he's a cowboy. He had some great runs, a few very nice catch and runs. Grinding out some tough yards (see next comment). I've never seen him get steamrolled like that but he made the block. :D
O-line didn't block very well up until the last few plays of the 1st half.

End of 1st half....

Good post....I never timed it out before but....

The non play time is maddening.

No no...it's a good story. That's called grace. You let your dad feel like he was doing something good for his son. Pretty awesome on both your parts,

Why am I still nervous watching this game while knowing the outcome lol?

They outplayed Seattle considerably for a long while and came close to blowing it.

I don't think you can play this way in today's NFL.

Almost have to pretend you're losing and keep the hammer down.

Edit.....Seattle losing their kicker was a factor as well.

any chance you would send me the tapes with the week 17 Giants game and the Saints game from 03? I will digitize and send back to you the tape and the digital file.

That's a big ask. I actually have a great sentimental value with those tapes now considering they were from my dad and how that season turned out. I'm going to politely decline. But that does give me a thought. These VHS tapes degrade over time. I should digitize these games to preserve them. Thanks for the idea.

Then send HIM a copy of the game!

100%. Make sure you have VCR in good shape that wont eat the tape. Find a cheap capture device, hook up the s-video and rca audio cables and digitize them at the highest quality your capture program allows.

If and when you do let me know, I want a copy of week 16 and 17. I will trade you for them.
