Well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Guess those shorts and t-shirt practices are getting a little intense!
I dont think that right. Injuries are wear and tearGee, players want less wear and tear to prolong careers. How selfish
not sure if this is a good or a bad thing... I think it’s good for teams to get the extra prep work in.
That's because huge muscles = more injuries. Problem is, nowadays players have to develop huge muscles to compete. He's floating the idea and it most likely wasn't his. The last negotiation, the NFLPA reps realized they could push anything and everything as long as it wasn't a bigger cut of the action and the owners would get round heeled as long as it wasn't money.
They will push as hard and far as they can go, up to "hey, we'll show up on gamedays but only an hour before and that's if you send the limo".
As fans, we don't like it but if we were players, we'd be all over it.
Really, what good are the OTA's except to get media coverage for the league during the down time? For decades, they ran the league beginning in July with camp and preseason in August and a lot of the lineman showed up overweight and out of shape and worked their way into it and they had a lot fewer soft tissue injuries back then.
Those fatasses aren't being paid millions for their job.I love seeing all the fatasses on this forum criticizing professional athletes for being “lazy”.
Those fatasses aren't being paid millions for their job.
I think its obvious. I havent researched this but this season I consider a good example of short training and explosive of injuries. I think the players Union is responsible to some degree. Not for this horrible season but seasons pastOne reason so many injuries happen in today’s game is because these guys don’t practice like they used to anymore.
Seriously? We don't get paid millions to be in proper shape so that's totally irrelevant.I love seeing all the fatasses on this forum criticizing professional athletes for being “lazy”.
And the entitlement mentality is 10 times more sickening. So you’ve never made recommendations to your supervisor? Or in this case, if you’re part of management or director level, never made recommendations to your senior executives/CEO etc as it pertains to items that may be impacting the employee experience?
Do you ever think about the fact that there are folks less fortunate than you that look at your situation and say “you’re getting paid thousands for your job.”
Just because they get made millions doesn’t mean there aren’t adjustments that can/should be made.
This “shut up and just play” mentality some have is sickening
