This has to be the most realistic sports game I've ever played in my life. The demo is out on Xbox One and PS4 today. Huge presentation upgrades and physics upgrades that you can actually see. The series is totally revamped from last year. Definitely a must buy if you are a fan of hockey. Beats the heck out of Madden and Fifa.

Love the NHL series. Usually all I play once it comes out. Hopefully they fix the draft in BaGM and then I'll be happy.

Might even go back to playing online and beating people with the Panthers lol.

It's great if you go 5 on 5 or 6 on 6, less chances of having crappy glitch goals.

It will be even more fun with the pile-ups.

That's only for Xbox One/PS4. The old gen game has all of those.

Got the game, seems to be pretty cool. I am struggling passing the puck a bit. Everything seems to be 2 mph no matter how long I hold the button.

The game is very fun. It only has terrible reviews on Amazon because of the game modes taken out. I think it was season mode (franchise is still there) and EASHL which is basically clubs in FIFA. NHL has always been the game where if you aren't good at it, you'll probably hate it. Maybe it's best to wait until it's $40 because of the "lack" of game modes, but it's still a fun game. My ultimate team record is 12-12 online and I'm so sick of everything being .500 in my life haha.

I see all the negative reviews on Amazon and I hope they continue the trend.

That way the game can be sold used for cheap.

I've been playing the game quite a bit now and I have to say it is the by far the best hockey game I have ever played. Yea there are a few quirks to it, but I am really digging it.

Curious what others who bought it think of it now that they have owned it for a bit.

I just bought this game the other day...I havent played much yet, but I really like it so far...Keep in mind that I havent played a hockey game in ages..

I really enjoy being able to play as the goalie...I suck at it right now, but its still fun...

Anyone have any defensive tips for me? I am playing GM mode with the Avalanche, but the CPU seems to score on at least 25% of its shots. I can hold the CPU to 10 shots and still lose 3 to 2.
