Stay in front of your man and anticipate changes of direction. Pole check ,but be careful of penalties.

One-timers seem to be deadly in single player. You have to stay in position and not chase or else they will find an open player for a one-timer. It's kind of annoying. AI scoring seems a bit glitchy.
I still think FIFA is the best. 2K is great this year. NHL is not as good as it was last year.

It has peaked my interest that so many here are giving it favorable reviews. In my Game Informer (Which I know isn't the be all end all or anything) it was given a 5.5 which did not entice me to get anywhere near this game.

A lot of the game modes that it didn't have at the time of the release are already added back in. If you love hockey this game is fun as heck.

It's still a good game and they have plans to patch the content so it will be back to normal soon. I still prefer 14 but it's solid. They are pointed in a good direction.

I'm starting to get sick of this game. I'm tired of how overpowered the poke checks are and every opponent I've been playing recently has been doing nothing on defense but poke checking. I was on a breakaway, a defender was a good 10 feet away from me, yet STILL poke checked me from behind. Really????
I've had a game where I've scored 2 goals (on 28 shots) and someone else scored 6 goals (on 9 shots). I shot 28 GOOD shots and still lost! The other guy didn't do anything special.
You don't have to have skill in this game, you just need to poke check constantly to win. The chance of a tripping or hooking penalty is 5%. It's becoming unplayable, and I'm in Division 1 of Ultimate team.
