Nice job Roy

Unfortunately, we find ourselves striving to congratulate him after he makes a good catch/play.

Then he flubs it again.

This is the pattern for Roy. Good game, bad game. Good catch, bad flub.

I will be more generous with praise when he shows some consistency, if for nothting else for those millions he is reaping from Jerra with he catches balls or not, whether he grins after a flub or not.

He's also directly cost us a game and cost us a chance at another

This is an A&M thing. This aint about Roy.

That conversion in the corner of the end zone was sweet... The catch to convert the 3rd down for the long run was sweet too.

I still don't like you but, admittedly, dislike you a bit less after your performance today.

Don't forget his blocking on run plays and screens to his side.

I get mad at Roy for some of his mistakes, and for his tendency to try to absolve himself of the blame, but the guy plays HARD. He does not take plays off when it's not designed for him. He gives everything he's got on the field. He might not have the raw talent of Dez, but he is still a very valuable player on this team.

I'd certainly like to see him come back at a reduced salary, but that's not realistic. Plenty of teams around the league would be upgrading their receiving corps by adding him. The only way I can see cutting him outright is if dumping his salary leads directly to our being able to sign a surefire OL or DB.

Roy's played really well this year IMO. I find myself during games wishing we'd go to him more often, because he's pretty much made plays every time we've thrown him the ball this year.

BTW, isn't it funny when you come into a thread that's many hours old intending to comment on the thread title subject only to see that it's 90% bickering about other things...
