That's just it. Being tentative. On D, move out of the way and extend your arm and hope that brings him down. Jones looks like he just wants to get the play over with.
I agree. Watch the D. Very few of them will fly into a guy with the viciousness needed from a great D. Watch how Baltimore hits tomorrow night.

I'd say that the only guys who truly played tonight with the aggression this D desperately needs are Hamlin and Ratliffe. Hamlin didn't play well, but at least he wasn't afraid to pop somebody. Maybe Spencer and Ware, some. Most of our guys are just afraid to hit somebody. They D played just like it was a preseason game.

Not only was Roy terrible against the pass as usual...but this year he has forgoten how to tackle, taking the easy way out and not wraping up.

Roy is a liability and makes Quentin Jammer look like a Pro Bowler.

Julius Jones is not a starting caliber rb in the nfl...he gets 0 yards after the first contact, rarely makes anyone miss ...
there should be little doubt that Barber is a true NFL RB-he avoids people, runs over people for extra yards and runs much harder with MUCH BETTER VISION OF THE HOLE=Julius still runs at the defender

THE D WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING-gotta get TNEW back healthy or this d is mediocre- all those first round picks-SPears,Carpenter and roy are middle of the pack at best-TNEW and Ware were solid picks(i wanted Suggs and Merriman those years- as did many of us)
Newman won't make that much of a difference. Henry can't cover either. In fact, I'd say Reeves was better than Henry.

Basically, a bunch of the guys we all thought were solid players or potential stars, just aren't very good.
