I want a playmaking safety big time.......but that is a pricy for my taste.

All I did was make my daily topic!
You're still in timeout. You're not allowed to speak....

LOL I'm just picking with you...Now I might consider him for a 2nd, but not a 1st and a 3rd.

He is a top 3 free safety in the NFL, many people on here want us to grab a safety in the first round, or even tradeup for a 1st 2nd and 3rd to around 18 and grab Earl Thomas (who I believe will be the best S out of this class).

Collins is proven, for a 1 and 3 I would jump on it like a monkey.

he is not a top 3 safety in this league. he does make plays and he also gives up way too many. plus he was part of a defense that gave up 50 something points in a playoff game. If we were taking anybody from GB I'd rather we get Jolley

I'm not a fan of throwing around first round picks for veterans. We've been burned by that too many times. Just because someone plays good for another team doesn't mean they will do the same for the Cowboys.

hes not really to much of a veteran he is 26.

This is even more ridiculous than the idea that someone would give up a 1st and 3rd for Miles Austin.

I'd still wanna groom our own. Especially when dealing with first round picks...those are too valuable

I am all for a 1st, 3rd, and 6th and swapping picks and whatever have you and the 9mil per year and all that other crap...:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

my frustration isn't with you R2A...sorry if I came across that way

Would you give up a first and a 3rd for Anquan Boldin or Larry Fitzgerald?

K, cause Austin is worth more than Boldin.

For Fitzgerald, yes.

For Boldin, I'm not GM Hog Wild, so no.

Lets say the Packers put the 1st and 3rd tender on him, do you do it?

NO!!!!!!
Do not give up draft picks. We are fine with the players we have. Get more depth and future starters in the draft.
Draft OL with 1st 2 picks, unless someone drops to us that is a can't miss BPA. Like a Safety or can never have enough CB's. WR in 3rd, or 2nd if BPA.
