If this year is for real I have Foles ahead of Stafford, Wilson, and Luck. Wilson is the best quarterback of the lot, but you just can't count on a quarterback that's 5.10 to be a successful quarterback on many teams. It's just too hard to read defenses, and that tiny body will get beat up having to run around finding open guys. Newton is A no-brainer if they can teach him how to play is the pocket .

Lol no. Foles just happened to luck out with chip kelly coming to Philly. He does not have the skill set of a top NFL QB. He is accurate with short and medium passes and makes smart decisions, I'll give him that. But he can't move his feet in the pocket and he has at best mediocre arm strength. I'm pretty confident you could replace Foles with someone like Alex Smith and there would be 0 drop off.

I would have no problem building a franchise around Aaron Rodgers...heck even Tom Brady.

Rodgers
Brady
Luck
Newton
Wilson

Would probably be my top 5

Mine would be -

1 Rodgers
2 Luck
3 Stafford
4 Wilson
5 Newton
6 Foles
7 Dalton
8 Kaepernick

I'm still hesitant to anoint Foles as the next big thing, though I will admit he has had a terrific year this year. I think next year he'll come back down, I don't mean to sound haterish but it does seem he has been very lucky this year. But we all know he saying, it's better to be lucky then good.

I agree. Having McCoy in the backfield hasnt hurt him any either.

1. Luck
2. Newton
3. Wilson
4. Foles
5. RG3...Remember Newton had a down sophmore year in the NFL. Think rg3 still belongs on the list because we saw what he is capable of in his rookie season. Give him a chance to develop as a pocket passer this offseason and we'll see.

Not to mention the opponents hes faced. I would have liked to see what he could have done against the Chargers, Broncos, and Chiefs this year. Good to great teams. Hes faced very mediocre teams

Foles isn't even close to top 5. He just has a coach who has coached extremely well around his limitations.

Stafford at Number one? LOL He's Romo's younger brother in terms of choking.

Foles hasn't proved anything.

Luck will be a top 3 QB n the league in three years.

Newton and Wilson I think are very talented but need more talent around them to realize their full potential.

A top 5 QB is able to perform when their best supporting players aren't around them.

Without McCoy, Fairytale-Foles is #32.

I really agree with all those putting Rodgers among the top. He is fantastic and didnt take much damage while sitting his first couple years, so I think he is a very young 30.

1. Rodgers
2. Luck (man he has really delivered even with all the hype. Strong, big and can run when he needs to.)
3. Newton (I think he is amazing. Fast strong and seems to be getting better in the pocket.)

I wouldn't build my organization around any of those guys except Cam Newton. He's the only one who didn't inherit a playoff team and has them in there. Maybe Luck to but he's been rather depressing to watch since Reggie Wayne went down.

The jury is still out on Foles but if he keeps this play up? You're correct. You want to build a team around this guy. I remember how everyone was crying last year about RGIII and how we'd have to see him the next 10 years. That opinion has changed lol.
