He cleared waivers, (like last week), no team has made a move on him.

So the question is, do you bring him back during the off-season?

I do, without a question.

Yes, without a doubt Folk was a good kicker and when ever he gets out of his slump he probably will be again

I'd do it as soon as possible, which I believe will be after our season ends, but he might not be available then.

don't we have 1 open spot on the Practice Squad? Sign him now.

Not eligible

I have a feeling that some playoff team is gonna need a kicker at some point and might grab him. But if he's available in the offseason then certainly give him another shot.

Based on his numbers this year, they would have to be desperate. But I suppose he could impress some team in a tryout if he gets his mechanics or head straightened out.

i'd like to see him get another chance.
maybe he can work out whatever's wrong with him over the winter, maybe not. i wouldn't mind seeing a folk, ss, db battle royal next TC.
everyone need to be pushed by competition.

I would...

Of course you do. Let him and Suisham duke it out.

I dunno, you'd have let Der Buehler into the duke-fest too, and that wouldn't be a fair fight...

Maybe they should all three just compete for the kickers' job instead...

I think Folk is still recovering from the hip surgery, Dallas simply couldn't afford to have their season in jeopardy because of it though.

The odd part though is that he started the year off better.

The other thing is that both he and the team swear there is nothing wrong with his hip.

I would gladly give him another try in TC to see if he has sorted out his issues. Mentally, we know that he was able to make big kicks before and seemed to be unaffected by pressure.

i would say pick him up, his rookie and 2nd year he was amazing and won some games for us and he has run into a little slump but he will be a great kicker again

Dude he's missd 10 kicks. Any team touching him is asking to lose.

I'd bring him back in the spring but wouldn't touch him this year.

Which is why I'd bring him back... if I thought he'd just lost his stroke, I'd let him move on, but if there's a chance he can get back to what he was last year if and when he gets healthy, that's a different story...
