4.50 for Nick Perry at 271 pounds. Freak. Jumped a 38.5 too.

Perry must have really busted his tail after the season. He was listed at 250 pounds to go to the combines and weight in at 271 and still post good speed and agility numbers is pretty impressive

Not comparing them as players, but 4.5 at 271 is freakish, Ingram's 4.66 at 264 isn't.

I didn't say I was confident he wouldn't be gone, I just think it's funny that every good player is going to be drafted before #14. When the board was on Ingram, then he was going to be gone Top 10. Then DeCastro was going to be gone Top 10. Brockers is going to be gone Top 10. When everyone was high on Kirkpatrick, he was a Top 5 pick. Upshaw will be gone Top 10. The list goes on and on.

If you listen to the board, we'll be choosing between a bunch of potential undrafted free agents when #14 rolls around.

For a 3-4 OLB the 20 yard shuttle and 3 cone drill matters most. This is where you will see their agility.

I read that his 10 yard split was 1.57!

Everything is very unofficial at this point so we gotta tap the breaks.
But it is clear he is an elite athlete.

The 10 yard split alone can mean a guy has (or hasn't) learned how to get out of blocks. Track guys have huge advantages there. But combined with vert and broad jump numbers you see consistent leg power. Perry is a freak clearly.

Overall, yes, you are right...just in this specific instance, I honestly believe perry very well may be gone.
