The thing with Herbert. LAC supposedly have all this talent on defense the past 3 years. But yet they can't make it work. They give up a lot of points as well.
They score a lot, even before KM, though last season he never had his top 2 WR's at the same time, except for maybe 1/2 of 1 game.

Kind of like the old days with this team, score, but defense can't stop anyone.
I still like Herbert as a top QB though.

LAs D seems to always suck and I think that coach is toast. Herbert has had two chances to snatch wins for his team and if they had won, he would have been a big reason why. LA vs Minnesota is going to kill the other teams chances to make the playoffs I believe.

What high throws are you talking about? What not accurate throws are you talking about? Every team's receivers risk getting injured..... sometimes throws are intentionally away from their bodies to prevent the interception. Gardner dropped one ball and.... where did multiple come from? Every single QB has dropped picks, Mahomes included.

Sounds like you're just making all this stuff this up.... shooting words out of a potato gun with no substantial evidence to back it up. And yes.... it is possible for him to be a Top 2 QB at times. This isn't the 90s anymore. There's 1 elite QB in the NFL, and that's Mahomes. So yes, it's quite reasonable and possible Dak can play as well as any other QB not named Mahomes in certain moments. Not even Allen is consistently elite.... during the end of '21 and beginning of '22 he was, but he has fallen back down to just very good. Whether Dak can sustain this remains to be seen, but you act like it's impossible for lots of Quarterbacks to play at a Top 2 level at certain times with the parity and fluctuations in today's game. Again need I mention it's 2023.... not 1995. Even Flacco played like a Top 1 QB one January in 2013.

QB play is strongly affected by coaching, playcalling and surrounding talent. I don't think that Brock Purdy is in any way shape or form a top 5 QB. Last year his 107.3 passer rating would have lead the league had he qualified. Right now he is #1 in QBR. Why? Because he has an elite team around him and his coach calls the plays to his and the team's strengths.

Dak is now in a Brock Purdy situation and is doing just as well. I'll give Dak a lot of credit for putting in the work to learn the new offense. I just disagree with those who are trying to put Dak on a pedastal. If you put Allen, Mahomes, Herbert or many others in this position, they would look just as good if not better.

I will say this. Jalen Hurts looks like fool's gold. He also has this type of situation and he doesn't look as good.

Josh Allen has been woefully off target at times. Daks worst Games however, happen to have occurred in the biggest must win situations. IE, playoffs. If we can minimize the untimely miscues , I think with this team,as constructed, can win the big games. I saw the video Nick is a flip flop. In 2016 he thought Dak was the next Brady then after the kneeling fiasco Dak is not that good and is a product of Zeke.
