Moore called plays aggressively and treated Dak like he is Romo or Aikman. That set the stage for Dak to throw INTs although his yards and td stats got padded. MM is clearly calling more conservative games with the O bc he knows the defense can carry them. Punting and FGs are fine. Dak probably won’t have the big yards and TDs numbers but he probably also won’t have big INT numbers…which by my estimating will equal more Ws.

Great post buddy.

Nice to see an objective one on this "subject."

MM has a great football mind, and should have been able to call his offense since day one. But happy he now has the chance.

A quick aside- just like in GB, it's next man up here now. So nice to have such a great head coach where a few injuries doesn't kill a season. I hope folks appreciate Mike, he's as great as you're going to get under JJ. I personally think he's great period.

Here we go. Sounds just like what I hears about Cowerd years ago.
Meh.....Nick Wright is from Kansas City.

Cowherd is a carpet bagger with excellent radio business acumen....Dude should be a suit...he and his contacts have lost touch with today's player.
Cowherds sources told him in 2014 that Prescott was at best a backup TE in the NFL..... :lmao2: :flagwave:

Amen . . . It had to be said
@Yobwocs look at what else @SpaceCowboy99 said about Micah Parsons when he was standing next to Tom Brady!!.... remember these Dak Haters Eye Test is imbecable

Stop debating Dak Haters....they are have NO Clue about the 21st Century Professional player!!

To be honest this just shows me how tiny Parsons is. He won't last long in the NFL. Brady dwarves him. Sad, hope we don't pay him a big contract.

Doesn’t necessarily mean dumbing it down….just not expecting your QB to sling it 40x per game and let your defense play. Not too many QBs can sling it 40x per game and not make a lot of mistakes

I’m wondering if we won’t look back and wonder why we didn’t get rid of Moore sooner…
And that’s not a shot against Moore, he’s a good OC…just not right for Dak and this team.

The Dak supporters will hate this post.

QB play is strongly affected by coaching, playcalling and surrounding talent. I don't think that Brock Purdy is in any way shape or form a top 5 QB. Last year his 107.3 passer rating would have lead the league had he qualified. Right now he is #1 in QBR. Why? Because he has an elite team around him and his coach calls the plays to his and the team's strengths.

Dak is now in a Brock Purdy situation and is doing just as well. I'll give Dak a lot of credit for putting in the work to learn the new offense. I just disagree with those who are trying to put Dak on a pedastal. If you put Allen, Mahomes, Herbert or many others in this position, they would look just as good if not better.

I will say this. Jalen Hurts looks like fool's gold. He also has this type of situation and he doesn't look as good.
Now why would I A Dak Supporter, get mad over someone who is just wrong in his assessment? Nothing to get mad about or hate, you're just wrong. And you come with the same trash that everyone

with you point of view comes with. So again I say why would I be mad or hate your post. Jalen hurts is fools gold . Yeah no biases in THAT post . Herbert and Allen ? come on dude really only fools are still popping that trash.

Like I stated you don't hate lesser men, you pity them. Change the title of your post to Dak supporters are going to feel really sorry for me after reading this, because I do, I really do.

Typical Dak homers. The defense is the best in the league and dominating and Dak is a top 2 QB now.

Have you watched his throws both games? Still the same Dak. High throws, not that accurate, almost got ceedee killed. Multiple times he should have been intercepted but the defense dropped the ball.

He is bus driving well, which is what the cowboys need, but this is the SAME QB we have had for 7 years now. He won't ever change. He's a rank #12 QB. He can't carry a team, he doesn't play well from behind, he has the touch of a blacksmith, and his defensive read IQ has always lacked.
Don’t even waste your breath with these people … half of them disappeared for weeks after the last two playoff games that we exited due to their HOF dude

I did not because I heard and watched it live. The entire show and previous ones where Nick W has said the same things. I believe the Cowboys will be challenged very soon and we will get a look at Dak in those circumstances. If Dak plays the same as he is now, I will move him to the top few myself.

The OP asked who is playing better and I can tell how Dak is playing because the D has been dominant. I loved Dak’s game vs the Jets, and wasn’t crazy about it vs the Giants. I don’t fault him for the Giants game though. Too hard to judge in that crappy environment.

Most or all of the other QBs I’ve seen how they play when tested. That’s why I stated them as being in the convo as playing better than Dak.
Dak is already battle tested. This stance is kind of ridiculous, he's not a rookie who needs more testing, he's seen everything already, played many different defenses and many high scoring offenses he went head to head to with.

I’m talking about this season. Players do move up and down year to year. Otherwise, Mahomes, Allen, burrow etc would make up the top 5. That ain’t how they’re playing though is it?

This season I may have Dak higher than I’ve had him so my comments are about seeing more of him when things are tougher and more dependent on the offense. I like what I see this far and want to see more.
