Even Nick Wright, one of Dak's biggest critics puts him in an upper tier, among names who the media claims are great. Hmh.... I wonder who I should trust.... members of this forum or the NFL media. Tough one.

Name those sane people with NFL experience. Like I said, the experienced ones clearly have Dak in the top 10...and it obviously bothers you.
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb Discusses the Biggest Change in Dallas’ New Offensive Scheme

In an interview with the radio show, Lamb discussed Dak Prescott’s on-the-field presence and what makes the QB impactful, aside from his leadership. “He’s looking for the deep ball now…so if you’re not gonna back up, this is a warning to everybody; if you’re not going to back up, good luck,” Lamb said.

How will the offense look under Mike McCarthy compared to former Cowboys play caller and newly-minted Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore? Lamb said that there isn’t much difference, but things are simpler now. The offense is all “in Dak’s hands now.” “However he’s feeling versus the coverage, if he likes the matchup, we’re gonna call that play. If he likes whatever he likes versus zone, he’s gonna call that play. So technically, it’s all in Dak’s hands, and we’re moving much faster at a different pace,” explained Lamb, who described the team’s offensive mindset as playing freely now.

According to the star wide receiver, Prescott will be making more changes compared to the past three years. “Going into the line of scrimmage, us, as receivers, we know the other two or three options that he has to change to,” said Lamb — adding that all of this opens up the game and Prescott’s mind, making the real matchup “Dak versus the defensive coordinator.” As for the communication issues that plagued the offense last season, it’s something that the entire team has been working on since the team’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round.

This information from CeeDee is HUUUGE!!!! It pretty much solidifies what some have thought: Dak and the Cowboys offense were being controlled and limited by Kellen Moore. Now, with Mike McCarthy fully in control and allowed to implement his West Coast Offense playbook and mix it with what the Cowboys have had, McCarthy is giving Dak full reign to make the decisions on the field. McCarthy wouldn't dare do this if he didn't believe Dak was smart enough to handle such duties, especially since McCarthy's job is on the line if the Cowboys offense crashes and burns. This speaks volumes of how smart Dak could very likely be. 2023 will be very telling. So far in training camp, Dak has been so much better with his throws, decision making and command of the offense.

So only when members here agree with the media do they tout the media "great knowledge" yet when the same media member you herald as being "oh so knowledgeable" directly blames Dak for the first playoff loss to SF nobody anointed him the great sear.

You guys are too funny in your desperation to elevate Dak beyond what he will ever become.

LOL I guess it's been a while since I seen Nick Wright as I thought he had a skin fade haircut. Now he looks like Keegan Key in a skit.

Having Williams, no matter how much potential he has, on the list, is silly. Even Lawrence that high is nuts. The tier Dak is on seems fine to me.

This is a Joke.
Why is Williams even on here? He isn’t even in the NFL. The list is completely invalidated.

Dake above Stafford? Yeah right.

Dak IS Kirk Cousins until he proves otherwise.

And Dak was simply outplayed by Mr Irrelevant Purdy, who is way far down the list.
If we swapped Dak with Purdy, we would have beat the 49ers.
same question here. who is Williams?

Stafford is getting older. last year he was pretty bad, but so was the whole Rams team.

I do put Dak above Kirk. mostly also because Kirk is towards the end of his career. he struggles in playoffs more so than Dak

Interesting seeing as how the Dakfanatics constantly start threads to herald Dak every chance they get......even going so far as to celebrate how well Dak is doing in....wait for it....training camp.
herald!!! too much drinking.

here is the Logic of Bash Dak over Dallas Cult...
If you don't incessantly bash dak, hate on him and criticize him, you must think he is Elite and every post about QBs is heralding Dak.

I call you guys the cuckoo cult.

Wil you please stop? No one’s mind is being changed with these endless Dak posts. It is tiresome for everyone on both sides of the argument, and it is especially tiresome for those of us who are agnostic about Prescott.

This guy doesn't understand that the 49ers were better than us on most positions... LOL. WR, TE, DL, LB, RB, PK. We can even argue the others.

And yes, Dak is above Stafford. His one Super Bowl doesn't change the fact that he had to be traded for that to happen. He had 1 Pro Bowl prior to that despite being in the league for 15 years. and never once above 100.0 rating before that year.
and Staff had 20 INts, two in the super bowl so??

you know Troy had 23tds-15ints WAS his best year in sb year also 13tds -12Inst in a sb year? Dak was what last year 23tds-15ints(ironic huh?) his worst year alelgedly? . that not what i call Elite qb play by old Troy :))

Imagine SM and saturation of football talk lie this for Troy..SBs are team concept not just one individual.
