Would not disappoint in the least if Dallas went in this direction in the draft round 2 . Armstrong going to see his snap count jump considerably while you add this ex Sooner from a major program to the Tank / Armstrong rotation . A major area of need on this D with Gregory gone . Have to pressure the QB , give Diggs & Brown the ability to cover .

I think he is the type of edge we're going to be looking for--pass rush specialist, not a full time guy. Basham, Fowler, Armstrong and a rookie to play a very specific role

I don't know why he isn't getting more love. I think he'd improve our pass rush immediately.
His weight. I think he is a 3-4 edge monster. I love the prospect. But he is smaller which can make him fall for 4-3 teams

Many believe he is a tweener, most likely a late day 2 pick.

Dallas needs to find someone to add to the mix at edge . Fowler ok let’s see if DQ can work some magic revive his career but Tank & Armstrong aren’t enough .

And to be honest I think Fowler was a good signing and need to find a contributor in the draft and not a spectator an actual game day roster player.

That's why they are targeting Sam Williams.

I like Bonito but I’m always leery of the guys on that Oklahoma defense. Wouldn’t be opposed to him in round 3 if available.
You can never scout the uniform, but I get it, Cowboys don't have a good record taking Sonner Defensive players.

Many view him as strictly a 3/4 OLB. Only 6’2”, not even 230 in college. Strictly a speed rusher with lacking ability to set edge.

I saw a stat had him in the 235-240 range but I get the point . A little light , might be a better fit as an OLB. I think by 54 in round 2 Sam Williams is gone . I’m looking at realistic . I had Chad Muma Wyoming on another thread as a realistic possibility round 2 to add to the linebacking core.

He's projected as a 3rd rounder and will probably be there at 88 when we make our selection. What makes you think he's gone by 54 in the 2nd? Just curious if you know something I don't.

Saints Eagles Chiefs will look long and hard round two at Williams before Dallas at 56. Perfect fit in KC. We shall see. If he is on the board at 56 Quinn & McClay might send his card to the podium . If the Cowboys can get Kenyon Green my first pick at 24 then Williams or Bonitto at 56 that sets up a very nice haul .

Similar sized player with more production that can be had after day 3.

Wasn't that the same reasoning Dallas passed on TJ Watt?

Dudes a monster. One of the most natural pass rushers in the class IMO.

He’s going to give you nothing against the run in year 1 but neither is Williams who were talking to and this kid has more pass rush upside IMO.
