No. 88

I don't think there has been a player to make the roster wearing #33 after Dorsett, has there?

i no robinson wears 85

what i'm saying is move robinson to the 40s so it will open no. 85 and give that to pierce. When the tripplets go into the ring of honor they should be the first ones to have their numbers retired

It doesn't matter to me at all. A number is a number. Get a good player wearing it and I will root for any new 88, 8, 22, 9, 7 or 11.

I just don't understand why you brought Robinson and his #85 into it. It doesn't effect him at all. Just take 88 away from Pierce and give him a 40 number.

Heck 94 was Haley now look who is wearing it. I just hope Ware can be as dominate as Haley was for us.

Hey, there ya go. Use it as a good omen. I can dig that.

00 isn't an available number or at least no one wears it

Only player in the NFL I ever saw wear 00 was Jim Otto the Center of the Oakland Raiders

Oh man. Stop it.

It's just a number. Stop the silly sentimentality.

There are probably 99 numbers on this team which have meaning to "someone". How about using 3 digits instead of two?

Or better yet? How about a combination of numbers and letters?

I'm sure another #22 will arise in Dallas and perform at a high level, just like there will be another #11, 88, 21, 33, 54, 74, 76, 79, and the list goes on.

Bledsoe is already wearing #11

Well, if he had stayed off the "booger sugar" ... his number might have been saved. LOL

It mad me sad when Drew Pearsons #88 got handed to the next guy. And then you see a scrub wearing #33 or #12. The boys dont retire numbers, never have. When you have as many greats as we have had, you wont have any numbers to wear, till they go to a 3 digit number.

I never understood the obsession with numbers. There's also a name on the jersey if you remember. So, if some random guy off the street with the last name of Irvin wants to wear 88, I'd be hesitant, but until that happens, what's the worry?

Ken Borrough a reciever from Houston back in the 70's wore 00.
