Fans who are too ignorant to know that the deadline is not until tomorrow at 3pm. Come on man.
Tick tock

All reports coming out of Dallas says they aren’t close to a deal. That makes every sportswriter and source close to the situation ignorant I guess.

You mean who do we credit? It's the correct move.
This.

The FO has to be examining and re-examining what is going on with Dak and his strengths and weaknesses.

Daks biggest weakness is his need after 4 years of needing more and more help offensively.

This is not unique to need to help the QB be successful but when the cost to keep the QB start to skyrocket the limitations to help the QB become less.

This season we became extremely lucky to have gotten Lamb in the draft.

This is the player Dak needs to spread the weight of getting where we would like to be. And so cheap!

So unless something really changes with our competition, this is the best we will ever have with Dak.

Its now or never.

The team has fulfilled as much as it can with the salary cap, contracts and roster filling.

All of us need to just wait to see where the leaks are.

Defense to me is the key. Stopping the point hemorrhage and letting other teams keep our high powered offense on the bench is the story of our season coming.

When December comes, where are we?

That is what always seems to be our crucible.

Really good teams will have a 2 game or more lead in their division by December and can then rest guys for the playoffs.

If we are still huffing and puffing like last year at the end..no chance for us.

We blame/credit the defenses of the Patriots, Eagles, Bears, Saints, Packers, Bills, Vikings, and Jets.
If Big Mike just changes one thing this year..

not losing to other teams that we are favored against...

we are looking very good.

I blame that on the coaches.

From top to bottom we were completely unprepared to play teams that Vas Vegas favored us in.

and to that the away game record of impotency against away teams..

was the worst I can remember.

That is strictly coaching.

ALL PARTIES GET THE BLAME.
I don't know, bro.

Since France entered the picture..

Dak has been a different person.

He has allowed his agent to push Dak into the background.

Dak seems to me to be less able to make his own decisions.

He also has shown me he is not assertive enough on his own.

Bad sign for your starting leading QB you want to take you all the way.

I have been surprised by DAKs lack of leadership.

I do not believe Jerrah will tolerate this a whole lot longer.

It's over for now. But Jerrah has always struck me as not making the same mistake twice.

Unless Dak is getting us competing for a SB..that gravy train he is swimming in is going to dry up fast.

oh we agree on that. Todd France should get the lionshare of the blame. Ii have said such on other posts. First thing he needs to do is fire ole Todd. He should have never let it get to this.

Dak will get his contract ( even if he gets hurt ) and I suspect it will rival the PH contract cause Jerry likes attention.

And he should've never hired this type agent. This type agent is good if you don't want to win super bowls.

exactly. He danced with the devil and got burned lol what a surprise . Now his Dallas career is in question beyond 2020. he could have had this nonsense all behind him, no distractions...but no...here we are. The optics of this do not set well with the fan base and JERRY JONES. Thats why I highly doubt he's brought back after the season. Only way he gets brought back and offered a long term deal is if we win the SB. Anything short of that and hes gone.

And if he continues w/ his inconsistencies, he stands to lose a ton.

only if we win the SB this year. Otherwise, you better not count on a deal. Jerry feels burned, lied to.Jerry is all about loyalty...and the optics of this makes Dak look disloyal, greedy.First order of business, DAK NEEDS TO FIRE THE AGENT.

AGREE, and so I highly doubt Dak had much to do with how the deal went. I think the agent pushed the envelope past the point of no return. Dak is the big loser here going forward. Like you said, if he stumbles somewhat this year, he losses money hand over fist. HUGE RISK not signing a deal.

I PROMISE JERRY AND STEPHEN ARE ALREADY GATHERING INFO ABOUT COLLEGE QB'S AND POTENTIAL FREE AGENT QB'S HEADING INTO 2021. That may be how motivated they are now because of how Todd France and Dak handled this.

Heck, I wouldnt be shocked of Mike McCarthy is looking ahead to 2021 a bit..especially at QB. Dak really forced Dallas' hand..his own doing.
