No Dallas QB in the past two decades has been given less than Dak this season. We have a bottom three RB group with zero playmakers and a WR corp with just one threat, CD Lamb. Jerry and son have done a great job ensuring Dak has only one legitimate playmaker. Then look at our bad run defense where two out of our last three games, puts Dak and the offense in a huge hole.

The weight of the world is on Dak’s shoulders and the Jones boys seem to be sabotaging their own team with their pitiful offseason.
Dak and CD could have taken LESS money like Brady did for years (Hence all his rings) and free up cap space to add playmakers. Today's players want their money. Hard to blame them but it's a different mentality today.

And to be fair Brady is a rare example not the rule. In the end he chose to leave for more money than Pats wanted to pay.

The difference is Brady was Elite elevating those around him. Dak isn’t.

I've been said they are playing "personal vendetta" games.

They are literally MAD they had to pay Dak and CD what they paid the two of them. But I don't feel ONE bit of sorrow for the Jones boys! There is a salary cap and there are rules the assure the players get a certain percentage. You don't want to participate in free agency because you want to save cap room to sign your own. Well.....CD and Dak are your own. If you did not want to pay either....then trade them and spend the money elsewhere. If you cannot trade them....let them play out their contract. But I have no sympathy for these 2 guys that have more tenure than any other front office personnel in the entire NFL....yet STILL don't know how to manage a coaching staff and roster.
Agreed.

and the only other quality receiver they had they booted in Cooper.
They really have not worked hard to get a quality #2 at all
Pollard was misused.
Ferguson if healthy can be a weapon but yeah there ain't much more. Once again the boys refusal to work the FA route hurts
Exactly.

You mean fewer.

Romo in 07 had TO and that was about it, w/ Glenn being hobbled. And TO missed the 07 playoff game, I think.

The way the jones boys look at it is that no Dallas qb has ever taken up as much of the cap as Dak has so more is expected of him. Not saying it’s right but that’s the logic.
So the Jones boys sabotage their owns teams success because they have a personal score to settle? That’s reason #2745 why we cant mk a deep playoff run. Glad our front office is so occupied with vendettas and revenge.

No franchise Cowboy QB in the last 20 years has made their skill players look worse...

Lmao

Dak has had one of the best supporting casts of any quarterback for damn near his entire career. Premier / top 10 running game, premier / top 10 Ols, lamb/Cooks/cooper/good above average TEs, better then average defenses most years which produce lots of ints. Sometime all of this in the same year

Granted OL is nowhere where it was however in the grand scheme of things is still better then the vast majority of the league. People act like it's trash. Granted I agree RB room is bad. You have lamb and Cooks who are both 1k receivers if used correctly and ferg is turning into a beast.

In the end Dak hit the lottery jackpot. Hell most quarterbacks would still love to have the talent Dak has been surrounded by.

Pollard was misused last year
Same with Cooks.
Granted we don't have a RB room but the run scheme is generac and can be seen coming a mile away
Name one playmaker on offense not named Lamb? Name our home run RB threat.

Well, when you're eating $60 mil against the salary cap, don't expect too much help.

I'd rather have Cooper Rush and $60 mil spread out among a dozen players to help this team.
Then how do the Chiefs field a team that has played in the AFC championship game five years in a row?

The RB is the biggest weakness of support offensively.

And while Lamb is our only star receiver , Cooks , a solid receiver during his career could be better utilized and Ferguson was Pro Bowl last year whose been out due to injury.
Cooks is solid but he’s no playmaker.

They wanted him paid, now they have to face the consequences
Watching them whine about it is pitiful.

Many have said this is the look of the team if you pay a loser like Dak that kind of money. It's only going to get worse also. We're going to be Dak, Micah, and CeeDee and a bunch of no names 3 years from now.

A good QB would be fine with this offense, but Dak is not a good QB.

They wanted it. They got it. I'm happy for em.

Well, Jerruh said they would have to do more with less. Can't pay your QB without sacrificing talent somewhere
