I'm skeptical of Dockery (although not quite as much as you) but open to evidence.
Not to sound like too much of a dumb, but is that a lot?BigDFan5;1388179 said:Last season Dockery gave up 3 sacks and had 7 penalties called on him, 6 of those were false starts
sacks not a whole lot, but thats quite a few false startsfanfromvirginia;1388196 said:Not to sound like too much of a dumb, but is that a lot?
Agreed, I think he's about to blossom coming into his 4th year. I'd love to see him at ORG!Woods;1387147 said:I've been saying for some time that assuming we sign Colombo, that Dockery may be a more doable option for JJ than Steinbach/Deilman.
I thought he really started to show improvement last year.

I'd love to have him here.
Alexander;1388266 said:Actually, the fact they believe he is a talent should scare you away.

Just watched the Commanders vs Colts 2006 and Derrick Dockery would be a quantum leap improvement over Marco Rivera.
Don't let the listing of his size fool you.. he is NO late career Larry Allen. Larry Allen was very sluggish, slow and clumsy the past few years... well Derrick Dockery is MUCH more agile than LA. Seems to have very quick feet for his size, doesn't lunge and get off balance, keeps moving his feet to maintain position, keeps looking for people to block in pass protection.
He was 15 yards downfield run blocking on 1 play.
He holds the line of scrimmage very well but he doesn't seem to just blow people out like good ole Larry Allen used to.
EDIT: This guy has some LONG arms. Pretty much... once he's on you, you're blocked and might as well give up. I didn't see any of the Colts quick DLinemen get around him one on one (without the help of a stunt or blitz).

only at ES cant you find out that Dockery is 2x the player Larry Allen was in his prime

TEK2000;1388355 said:False starts by Dockery occured as follows:
1 vs Vikings week 1
1 vs Giants week 5
1 vs Eagles week 10
1 vs Panthers week 12
1 vs Eagles week 14
1 vs Saints week 15
I don't remember what week it was that Campbell became the starter.. somebody help me out.![]()
But only one other than the false starts and false starts, as annoying as they are, are about the least harmful of OL penalties (holding, chop blocks to name 2 off the top of my head.)BigDFan5;1388202 said:sacks not a whole lot, but thats quite a few false starts
to answer the other question no idea how many came after the qb change
summerisfunner;1387135 said:his agent just said that w/ it being so late in the stage, a new deal is not expected for his client, OG Derrick Dockery, so he'll probably be hitting free agency when it starts March 2nd
:laugh2: stupid skins, the fans on ES think it's a matter of the Skins not wanting to pay to keep him, the reality is, they can't, not for what he's probably asking for
