False starts by Dockery occured as follows:

1 vs Vikings week 1
1 vs Giants week 5
1 vs Eagles week 10
1 vs Panthers week 12
1 vs Eagles week 14
1 vs Saints week 15

I don't remember what week it was that Campbell became the starter.. somebody help me out. :)

so 4 with Jason Campbell....new QB, young QB, learning a complex offense, difference cadence and rhythm.....yeah I can see a few false starts from the OL......

I've said this before, but if the Cowboys sign Dockery, they should also replace Kosier and probably Columbo.

Either go with finesse players or go with power players, this mishmash has killed Dallas over the last ten years. Make a decision and stick with it.

I couldn't agree more...if they sign Dockery than Kosier should be replaced and the zone blocking system of Sparano revamped. You need to bring in players to fit the scheme, otherwise it won't work.

Yes, a whole lot!
7 penalties for 40 yards and 3 sacks is a whole lot? I got that 6 is a lot of false starts but I don't think 3 is a particularly high number of sacks -- in 2005 we had multiple instances of individual players giving up multiple sacks in one game. And one holding penalty per season? I'd take that part in a split-second. Seems acceptable to me.

We have big and powerful tackles- and Columbo will get stronger. And have gone to a bigger and more powerful center in Gurode. While we have a smaller and more agile LG in Kosier; Rivera was a quick guard at one time.
Dockery would be stronger, but still agile. So he would fit with what we have right now. We expect our guards to pull and move a lot.

I'd rather have Floyd Womack who doesn't seem to get talked about much . Pretty versatile guy who's played both tackle and guard .

yeah, a few more trips through the chow line tends to make some folks "blossom"

David
C'mon db, 330lbs is the "norm" nowadays isn't it? I want some talented beef on the o-line like the Big Nate days. It took Gurode time to finally "blossom" and thank goodness we were patient with him. I think Dockery is in the same boat as Gurode.....

You want to replace the better of our 2 guards and keep one of the weakest players on our oline as a starter?
