I have said this a 1000 times....this OL is not been the same since Bill Callahan left....players play.. but coaches coach...Garrett hired a Raider OL Coach..Frank Pollack who has proven NOTHING as a Raider or a Cowboy....how many 1st rounds picks on the OL and its in decline....Players need to be coached....

I'm not so sure. If Washington is smart, they will load the box like the Giants. Don't care how great the OL is, 8 or 9 men in the box will be tough to run against. Dak has to attack down field. Dez has to be a threat. Washington's secondary isn't bad. They will dare Dak to beat them. Big Ben is capable of picking them apart....that's why the Steelers can run.

The Steelers passing game is opening its up for them to run against softer fronts. We will see 8 in box again.

Commanders have been trying to stop the run all game.. they're putting 6+guys in the box all game. They are just getting destroyed at the point of attack.

McFadden played with 8 in the box most of the time last year.

But you will though. It'll be the same " they stacked against the run" , " steelers where able because they had passing threat and Big Ben". Doesn't matter, there always excuses.

Examples:
We didn't address the defense. Excuse: sure we did we used like 25 3-7rd picks in the last three years.
Excuse #2.: we can't pay everyone. Excuse #3: building through free agency isn't value. Drafting is value. Excuse #4- free agents are progress stoppers.

Don't worry there will be endless reasons for any cowboy malfunction. I feel you though. Cest la vie

Yes NYG have a very good DL. But if your the best line in the NFL, it shouldn't matter. If there's one aspect of our team I expect to dominate every single week it's them. No excuse for their piss poor run blocking. Pass blocking was good, but you need to dominate week in and out to be the best unit

Pollack was the assistant OL coach under Callahan. So he was already on the staff when he took over.
I understand what you are saying, that they miss Callahan. But not sure if it's all on Pollack, or other factors, like the play designs and calls.

Actually I think they should have replaced many of the assistants on both sides of the ball.
