I agree. No use having 2 expensive receiver's if we are going to field these offensive tackles and even worst, this defense again. I rather spend the resources on defense and getting a quality back up/ swing OT.

What's cool is Flournoy is more versatile than Gallup (not throwing shade. I liked Galup).

He's so fast and shifty he's more effective on short and intermediate routes than Gallup.

Plus, he's explosive with solid YAC ability.

Flournoy was wide open for a 70 yard TD last night if Dak didn't get hit throwing the ball.

294 yards, no picks, no fumbles, escaped tons of pressures, no passing TD’s but 26 points scored.

I might think the same but Pickens has shown off his petulant tantrums and mercurial nature since he was at Georgia. He could be the best WR to ever play, but he’s nuts. I’m serious. There was talk at Georgia of cutting him at one point, and not for lack of talent.

Not sure this is accurate. I mean Parsons had no contract. Isn't it pretty common for players to get traded in the last year of their deal? You can question his value all you want (not high IMHO) but he can be traded.

Not three games away from free agency. No team is trading for him without a deal in place. No team is allowed to speak to him about a new contract without Jerry’s expressed consent. It’s accurate. And Micah did have a contract for the 2025 season. Still Green Bay wouldn’t trade for him without a subsequent deal agreed to before agreeing to the trade.

Yeah, I suspect he lost some of Dak's trust. Dak won't throw him under the bus though, as he shouldn't. And if we watched the All-22, I'm willing to bet teams are game planning more for him too. He led the league in yards on slants and Minnesota definitely seemed ready for that.

If he’s tagged he and his agent control any trade. They can simply wait until July 16 to sign the tag and then, by rule, he cannot be traded. Jerry is not going to give David Mulugheta the power to engineer the trade for Pickens. Tagging Pickens is a double edged sword. An expensive one.

We need to prioritize this atrocious Defense if we are going to be a quality football team. A 2nd stud WR isn't the answer.

Our NUMBER 1s, 2s and TEs don't work as hard as our opponent's NUMBER 1s, 2s and TEs. and it doesn't help to have a QB who seems to be reading defensives all wrong. Prescott isn't taking the Cowboys anywhere, anytime soon.

If the team can afford the cap hits each of the next two seasons, and think that tagging a receiver that thinks he should be paid top money is prudent, and believes they’ll get his best efforts under those circumstances, by all means do it. It’s a great idea.
