and to back up favortism by goofball, we had a trade worked out with titans, if pacman doesnt get reinstated at all we would get a 4th round pick next year, what does goofball do, he changed it to a 5th round pick, why?

this, we all know how fisher lied in public when he said, i just might keep pacman if we dont get what compensation what we want, and 2 teams are interested in pacman, and then fisher says the punishment that goofball gave belicheck and patriots was fair enough, so what does goofball do for fisher, he lessens the draft pick that we were suppose to get if pacman wasnt reinstated from a 4th to 5th, sounds like to me, goofball cheats and lies too, as well as fisher whom lied
 As far as I know the Cowboys get a 4th round pick back if Jones doesn't get reinstated this year and its a 5th back if he gets reinstated and then gets suspended again.

no, best i remember it was changed, we only get a 5th next year, was a 4th, but changed to a 5th by goodell best i remember,

awwww theebs, you dont want pacman returning punts for us

as far as jenkins and scandrick, i think they will do good, but always remember rookies have a hard time at CB the first year, just remember newman, he didnt do too good his first year.

now, as far as pacman, im not sure that he is totally young, he really hasnt hit rock bottom yet to my mind, you know like have everything taken away from him, etc, have nothing;

and when he committed that after his contract, and he gets a new one that he might peek in a gentlemans club,

what i am thinking this, first i hope pacman has grown up, maybe some of T O can grown on him, witten and romo and newman,

but if not, just think theebs, about this
say pacman has a monster year, helps us get to the superbowl and win with at least 3 punts returned for touchdowns, one big punt returned in playoff game, about 3-4 killer intterceptions,

and he does the same thing in his 3rd year, at the end of his 3rd year, to protect yourself, i would structure a new contract, friendly first couple of years and trade him during the offseason after his 3rd year, even possibly him helping us win another superbowl his 3rd year,

his value would be so high, in draft picks, that we should be able to get 2 # 1 picks, or a number one pick, a number 2 and a player, kinda like when the chiefs traded allen this year,

that would help us rebuild through the draft, and keep our team with some new talent, especially if 2 # 1 picks,

just think of the value he could bring us in draft picks and possibly a player after his 3rd year.

now if somehow he changes you keep him as a corner and punt returner, since newman will be gone by then, and henry will be gone, but if you suspect he is playing around trade him and protect yourself with draft picks

Should Pacman Jones get back on the field and not have any more off-the-field incidents, Dallas would also forfeit its sixth-round choice in 2009. If Jones is not reinstated by the league at all, the Cowboys would get Tennessee's fourth-round pick in 2009. Should he get reinstated then get suspended again, the Cowboys get Tennessee's fifth-round pick next year.

Dallas Cowboys Star Magazine, May, 2008

cool i stand corrected speedkilz, when i am wrong i admit it, i still thought i saw somewhere though that the commissioner changed it, but i stand corrected,

good job

i also best i remember guys, i know that on nfl copywright laws, its against the NFL to copy or make films of the NFL, isnt that right?

so wouldnt belicheck be breaking the law, especially NFL law and leaguality rules about not copying nfl films or their property? wouldnt that be illegal?

It is unless Bill had the express written consent of the National Football League.

Hmmm, we know that the other teams did not give permission, but did the NFL?
Could this be why the Comissioner was easy on the Patriots?

Goodell said he wouldn't make a decision on Pacman until right before training camp begins. That is late July. To expect anything before then is ignoring what Goodell said. You guys think he is going to do the Cowboys any special favors?

At least someone gets it.

If he doesn't reinstate PacMan after training camp begins, then that's something to moan about.

But Goodell has stated he won't consider PacMan until traning camp begins.

I don't see what the argument is all about except for the fact that he's a Cowboy so people are eager to see him join the team.

why it is so important to get him on the field now is this;

first he has been out of football for a whole year

second, in OTAs he can learn the defense

3rd he can also get used to the punt return team and they get used to him

4th, he is playing with his teammates, they are getting used to him and viceversa, you build trust that way

5th, you can get over all of the hoopla with pacman with the cowboys, if you wait till training camp like goodell wants to, it could be more of a distraction with HardKnocks getting involved with pacman being instated by training camp and not earlier

6th, if you remember tank johnson was out of football about a year, too, he was totally rusty and ineffective in reality, so with pacman being out longer than football than tank johnson, the rust would be more damaging,

so finally if you can get him in OTAs now, let him start to get in shape, learn the defense, build trust with teammates now, then by training camp he isnt so far behind,

in pro football, you just dont turn on and off the getting used to being hit, the speed of the game, so if the cowboys can get him in OTAs now, work out wiht team, learn and grow with defense and special teams, mainly punt returns the team will see it now, and the coaches can see things now too, do build off of ways to use pacman

its like pro football weekly said and frank whychek of titans a good player, he said your getting a super impact player, and that the cowboys might even use pacman on offense some, like in the slot on obvious passing downs,

so if you have time now to see that in OTAs, you can prepare more as coaches so when training camps comes around you have an ideal where you want to play him on defense, where on special teams and where if any on offense, more you have him some on offense, the more opposing teams have to prepare and spend unwanted time on another player that they werent ready for,

just my ideals and thoughs

At some point you have to test the waters to see if the punishment worked. Pacman has a fresh start.....the Commish dragging his feet on this is his way of saying that he is still the boss

and so CHILDISH........

Get over it and let him practice......we talkin' about PRACTICE....PRACTICE....

Guys- just how much would we care if we had not traded for him?

Pacman was the poster boy for the NFL's legal troubles and got slapped down hard and we all cheered. Now we are whinning because he is our problem now.

We bash good people like Patrick Crayton and Roy Williams and we cheer Pacman Jones. What's so hard to understand?

I wouldn't care about Pacman but I would still care about the way that Goodell punishes Wade Wilson, Pacman, etc and then allows the Pats to undermine the integrity of the game. It is the inconsistency that just gets under your skin. Then there is that little smirk on Bill's face as he says he did nothing wrong. :bang2:

Who pays Goodells salary? Who is actually his boss?
The Owners. Flat out they pretty much told Goodell how far to go with Spygate and no farther. Now whether he wanted to do more or whatever is another story. BUT only dumbies cannot think the owners had the final say on that.

I am probably the only one who still is holding out hope pacman never plays a down for us. So I hope goodell plays hardball with him.

Nothing would make me happier than pacman getting booted and scandrick and jenkins becoming outstanding players.

I will buy a scandrick or jenkins jersey this year if that were to happen.

We already made the move so we might as well live with it now.

I dont like him. Never will. But our entire front office and team are starting to get on board with it so I might as well support him the best I can.

I dont blame you though.

This could get interesting. Senator Arlen Specter is in the Committee on the Judiciary (Ranking Member) and the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights. Could start litigation against the NFL and Goodell and press the following issue:

From Wikipedia,

Specter and those moronic Senators need to be looking at more important issues. I am sorry tape gate or not

If he plays, he'll play. If he doesn't play, he won't play. He's an asset on the field and a liability if he messes up off the field. All things considered, I will not be disappointed if he doesn't play a down for Dallas. However, I will be mad as hell if he is reinstated, does something completely and voluntarily idiotic as he has done in the past and gets himself suspended again or worse.
