So you are just going by assumption? It’s a convenient way to keep avoiding the fact you have zero proof. Cooper getting the ball out early and bring more decisive doesn’t mean proof the play calling is different.

Going by the number of runs called doesn’t count as they called 12-14 rune by the first series of the third against the Bengals and were down 19-3 by that point. They simply got down too much and went pass heavy, including with Cooper coming in for Dak, not running the ball at all.

They are running different formations and max protect. If we are doing those things I'd wager they are calling more run plays as well.

Rush may ALSO be making different reads. There were a couple balls he threw that I thought damn I don't know Dak would've made that attempt. Rush balled out against NY.

Yeah that's a fair question. Also why do we need to run something else if the current game plan is working? Plug Dak in and see how it goes. The theory Dak is killing runs shouldn't even exist imo. If I'm a coach and Dak is doing that regularly I'm limiting his autonomy. Maybe they paid him and have further expectations than he can produce? Scale it back and build out. If you do all this for Dak and he isn't performing sit him behind Rush and figure out how to trade him. He may have a no trade clause, but he will waive it if he's on the bench.

I think Dak's issue is called "Analysis Paralysis". He's thinking too much which is causing hesitation. This time off should help clear his head, and just get back to the basics.

95% of the people on this board wanted Rush out of the NFL during pre-season, now he is better than Dak? I'm not the biggest Dak fan by any means but he is a far better QB.

I’m one of the 95% that wanted a better option at backup quarterback than an UDFA 1 NFL start Cooper especially when we still have 10 million under the cap

Although Dak should be the better Qb he didn’t play like that against the Bucs and Rush is playing way better than ANY of us though possible

I’m sincerely hoping that Dak can benefit from being on the sidelines and seeing Rush run a very basic offense and can be a better version of himself. Competition sometimes does this.

Love the guy, love what he has done for us but Cooper Rush runs like a 10 year old girl.
