No hate on Dak, but what does he do better than Rush?

Defensive coordinators are pretty savvy. It's why so many QBs do great in their rookie year but not so great afterwards. People have figured out Dak as much as they're going to. Probably not the case for Rush.

Nobody is overreacting about Rush’s level of play. I think the fans and team expected to lose all of the remaining games until Dak returned. After seeing Rush win games, the fans are giddy with excitement. Finally the fans had a pleasant surprise at the QB. Fans are not used to it:

they are giddy with hip hip hurray excitement that is influencing them to " overreact '.into Rush vs Dak comparisons, that is suggesting Dak is a
lesser QB than Cooper Rush, instead of being
thankful that our limited backup is able to play within himself and surrounding to ink out wins to stay in the NFC east, playoff race.

Steelers backup Charlie Batch was never gonna be a threat to take over a Big Ben, but the Steelers used whatever Batch had to help bus manage
and squeeze out tight wins, and there were several times when Steelers manage journey like backups to do so.

Jason Garrett was never gonna be a threat to replace Troy Aikman during his own injuries, but what was needed was a bus driver that you can
scheme around, cast your personnel around to help manage bus drive wins
Glue enuff together around that backup to give your team a chance to possibly win the game...

I don’t think Dak does this. He’s a great guy just not on par with Rush as far as a pro QB. The fans to this their selves. What type of QB would you be suggesting?

It’s not about the numbers. For those who know what to look for, the comparison between Dak and Rush isn’t close no matter what happens the rest of this season.

Ok here you go
Dak has a higher completion percentage ( more accurate)
Dak averages more yards per game ( more productive)
Dak averages more TDs per game ( better in red zone)
The Cowboys average 150 yards total offense and 10 points more per game when Dak is in versus cooper rush. ( better over all)
There is a lot more .

If you are going to post stupid things no need to bother asking questions.
Cooper plays within himself. He'll take the check downs or throw it away. He takes near zero risks.
Thats it. That's the list of what he does better than Dak.

Dallas was the number 1 offense in football last year with Dak.
He had 1 bad game this year versus a defense that is allowing 9 points per game and brain-deads are running with that as if Dak wouldn't have torched the Giants last night to win by 30.
Stop being obtuse.

Specifically, Dak is a top 5 deep ball guy over the last 5 years buy all metrics. His accuracy on those deep balls far surpasses anything Rush can do.
He's also just more accurate in general.
Many of those passes that were caught last night were floated into space or required great catches but they were really good reads.

Dak has beat the Giants 9 straight times and it is light work for him.

And with all of your hot air, he’s got 1 playoff win and teams know exactly what to do with him. No doubt, he’s a 1st ballot hof’er.
