He's got 9 1/2 toes out the door at this point. If he isnt lights out in the first two pre season games they'll do an "old Yeller" on him. McMahon says he thinks Jefferson is in the lead for the number 5 spot as of this AM.

That's be too many receivers who are 'solid' but lacking speed in my opinion.

Austin gets hurt (again!) and this team has no real downfield threat.

We can't count on this guy to stay healthy, so what difference does it make?
 
they should give MJ and ogletree more reps.stanglass is a lost cause.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not suggesting keeping Stanback, I'm suggesting looking for some receivers with some speed to compliment all the 'solid' ones with no speed they currently have.
