Jerry Jones hasn't changed his mind about keeping the head coach around after a night of surely restless sleep.
"Absolutely, he's going to finish the season," Jerry told DMN business reporter Brendan M. Case on a conference call about the Cowboys' business venture with the New York Yankees.
We'll see whether Jerry sticks to his guns if the Cowboys have a four-game losing streak and sub-.500 record entering the bye week.

Jerry also would absolutly not trade for a WR and esp not one who has never worked with Romo

Im not a fan of firing the head coach in mid season.

I don't think the ship would be righted right now w/ anyone other than the current head coach. I just don't think the players would have it.

I know I am stupid for thinking this but I am holding out hope that Bubble Pants Phillips can get this ship turned from the oncoming iceberg.

Whatev.

I support this decision. I would also support a mid season change, promoting Garrett.

Point is, I don't think coaching is a bigger problem than our injuries and players under performing.

I thought there were 500 other coaches who could run the Dallas Cowboys.

Oh, well, I guess Jerra meant other than Jimma and not other than Wade.

No surprise. The only logical choice to takeover would be Garrett, and Jerry's not going to set his wonder boy up to fail right out of the gate.

The best and most logical thing Wade can do at this moment is to take over the responsibility of the defensive play-calling, because he is single-handely ruining whatever respect he had in this league regarding his coaching credentials, because of his loyalty to the bum that is Bryan Stewart.

That is, if Wade isn't coming up with the game-plan already. But it really doesn't seem like it to me from the way he simply cheers the team when winning or looks like a doofus when they are losing.

Seems to me he has already finished the season.

The rest of the year is going to be like an episode of days of our lives.
