Yep. While most in this thread actually think Jerry means what he said, a select few (like Yeagermeister) see the hidden message. The vote of confidence has been issued. Now it's up to Wade to either right his own ship or go down in flames very soon.

I'm with you on the wish. Being real tells me they don't have the mental make up to do it on their own.

I understand your thinking on it.... BUT NOTHING is written(9 games left). Thats gives me optimism.

Im not a fan of firing the head coach in mid season.

I don't think the ship would be righted right now w/ anyone other than the current head coach. I just don't think the players would have it.

I know I am stupid for thinking this but I am holding out hope that Bubble Pants Phillips can get this ship turned from the oncoming iceberg.

Agree. You fire a coach in the middle of a season if you want to tank and get a good draft pick. Not if you want to right the ship.

Phillips is staying here. End of story.
