Everyone got so excited about this kid running the offense after the 1st 3 games that some were calling for him to be the next HC of the Cowboys. We have to face facts, Moore's offense looks good against weak defense's. We have not beaten a team with a record above .500.

Some throw out the "Garrett is messing with the play calling" , does Garrett only mess with the play calling against winning teams? NO.

The offense belongs to Moore and it is just not working.

I don't just blame Moore, the WHOLE coaching staff needs to go.

Weird in all of our losses....we lose the time of possession...badly. Yet...your wanting Kellen to do the same job w/ a quarter less time. Got it..

Kellen is the problem....not our defense. Might wanna check today's stats. We had more first downs 32 to Buffalo's 22...and we had the ball 6 less minutes....:rolleyes:

Don't you think there is a direct correlation between losing Time of Possession badly and the performance of the defense? I think back to 2018 and one of the main reasons we looked so good on D was because we won TOP and the D was fresh all game. Kellen Moore may well be a problem, but not the only problem.
 
KM is far too infatuated with the passing game and too quick to give up on the running game. He doesn't even seem to take into consideration who on the offense Jerry decided to pay and not pay. Zeke is the highly paid talent so KM needs to stop trying to make Dak a superstar and let the guy who already is a league star carry the ball with the load he has had in previous years.
 
The Cowboys offense needs to run more, but they also need to stop stacking the box on offense when they do run. They bring extra blockers in, TE's and WR's, and play them next to our tackles. Leaving no real open running lanes for Zeke.

we have some good coaches.

kmore, kitna, nussmeir, krichard, Colombo, brown.

but...

2 of the 3 coordinators need to go.

Marinelli and KOquinn are going to cost JasonG his job.

As the game gets going we are picking up first downs but barely moving the ball. Our first drive was great. Nice chunk plays. Then a bunch of 5 yard passes. Then something goes wrong and the drive fails. Or missed FG or turnover. At least that’s what I think I was seeing with my turkey eyes. Lol.

The second I heard that Moore was the next OC, I knew he would be the sacrificial lamb for 2019, the sole scapegoat that would be forced to take the fall for Garrett.

Fast forward to yesterday and Jerry tearfully proclaiming he would not be firing Garrett, and my thought is still the same. There is no way Moore survives Jerry's broke back moment. The kid gave it his best shot, but he was doomed the minute he got the job. It was the perfect excuse strategically put in place by Jerry to save his love child.

JG is fine after this year. Moore called good plays but our Offense wasn’t executing. For some reason Dak quit running with the ball or calling his own number. Forced to run yesterday and was picking up first downs. Other wise standing there holding the ball.. They abandon the run game early in the 3rd quarter. I would like to know if that was Moore or if Dak was using audibles.

To be fair he is a rookie OC! What did our brain trust think was going to happen when he played against the better defensive coordinators in this league? You don't put in a new guy and then not do something to either help him or find a way to soften the blow of the first year under them. Anything else is just insanity!
 
I actually think Moore has done a decent job. The whole franchise is dysfunctional with a teary eyed drunk running things.

Even if they hired a Meyer I think Moore should be given a look to stay.
 
Some of what more does has been good. More and Garrett have reopened up the deep passing game just like we used to do but we're more is failing is play calling in the red zone he's getting too cute he stops running the ball when it's effective he was running the ball too much when it wasn't effective versus the Lions but then the last two games he wouldn't run the ball in the red zone which is crazy considering we just needed 7 yards for a first down. he's just young he still learning about wind to do some of the things that he likes to do and when to do just what works and Garrett needs to help him more with that.
 
I don't see a change from a Garrett lead offense , is kellen moore really calling the plays ?

KM a 1st time OC , with 1 year experience as a coach EVER ?

Though it does sound like a jerry move , just plain dumb .
 
Unlike the NFL, which is a meritocracy, Dallas is a perfect example of nepotism.

Let's have Leon Let coach the DL. Does he have a coaching experience? NO, but he played here and we like him
Let's have Columbo coach the OL. Does he have a coaching experience? No, but he played here and we like him
Let's keep Garret. Did he prove himself? No, but he is almost like a family and we are close with him and his family

And so on ...

Moore was simply a placeholder put there to ride out the remainder of Jason's contract.

The good news is that's possibly an indication that Jerry isn't going to interfere with a new HC's staffing decisions.

So it's okay if your rookie lawyer loses your lawsuit? Or your rookie doctor misdiagnoses you? Hell no. And a rookie OC should be able to not screw up so big too.

Kellen cant be held responsible for Dak playing his worst game of the season.. this was on Dak and the Oline to an extent.. defense got wore out because of the ineptness of the offense to keep the ball, Tos, and bad throws... we what had 3 Tos plus to 4th down failures that count as Tos? this was offensive ineptness by our Captain Dak...
