BP said he did 'alright' (which means he played good) at Jax, and they have a decent offense, but they didn't really test him. Maybe it was the coverages we played. And Brunell was pathetic, no test there.

Now I don't expect much from the Titans either. So his first true test will be against the Eagles. They do throw down field, let's see what happens. I think he will be fine. May or may not give up a few plays. But that's expected and he will learn.

I am glad we got him. Something I don't think about on defense now, I think more of, just anyone creating a Turn Over, and let's get the pass rush going, like we did against Brunell.

he looked good in that redzone pass deflection
Yup, that was one play where I thought if they throw it in the middle Watkins will get his hand on it, and he did.

I watched the guy play at FSU for 4 years, 2 as a starter. He's not going to be a solid man to man guy IMO. But he could be as good a CF as there is out there in the NFL. He's got that type of talent to cover a lot of ground.

The one thing he needs to work on is wrapping up when he tackles... in all of the tackles I remember he goes low at the players legs with a shoulder and doesn't wrap his arms. That's gonna cause him to miss a tackle occassionally if he doesn't work on that and correct it.
