Compiling all those stats and records against the Eagles practice squad then being outclassed by the 49ers a week later is one of the most embarrassing episodes in Cowboys history since the bungled Tom Landry firing. Dak's 5 TDs against the Eagles deserves an asterisk. What an awful ending to a promising season.

This offseason will be the bleakest in recent memory. No money, going to lose defensive players, Schultz and possibly Cooper gone. Retaining garbage coaches, possibly losing our DC, and listening to Daddy and Son try to restock the kool-aid while bargain bin shopping.

Parsons: 0 sacks.
Tank: 0 sacks.
Gregory: 0 sacks.

Maybe it was the defensive gameplan from Quinn, but our “star” defenders didn’t make impact plays.

Very true stats don't win games. They are only over time an indicator of past performance. It is only one part of the equating and hanging your hat there is at your own risk.

Winning is the main stat for sure

But stats vs top 10 defenses would help you predict things…….just not stats in general

For the most part....we beat the teams were supposed to beat. That is HOW we piled up those STATS!!!!!!!

Correct, but stats help in identifying problem areas where the team can improve. So ignore them at your own peril. The smart teams don't.

Stats are for losers. We are what we are because we get so giddy about the #1 offense, Dak’s 37 td’s, ect.
All that matters are playoff wins which this franchise clearly sucks at for the last 26 years with no end in sight.
