So who do you think squeezes on the roster now that it's apparent that Beuhler can and will handle the FG duties?

I think Gronkowski should take Mr. Beeler out for a Ribeye....maybe a porterhouse.

I hope we keep Ze Gronk!!!:star:

I liked Holley and McGee caught my eye. But I still don't like his type... could be a good back up eventually though.

I'm going to hate to see some of these cuts. For some reason I think Hurd or Crayton is gone. We won't keep both of them. They have to find a new direction and not get stale. Seeing how we handle the 4th, 5th and 6th WR spot should be interesting.

I hope this isn't the case. But i feel like something sort of big is going to happen that will have some fans P'd off.

Like trading Crayton would rub me the wrong way. He and Romo have known chemistry. It just doesn't make sense.

But I'd like to see some of those other WR prospects we have too. Good game tonight. I enjoyed it.

:laugh2: You might be right. Someone just made the squad because of Beuhler's game. I haven't been this excited over a kicker since Chris Boniol.

We have had only one kicker for quite some time now.

No one's 53 man will be changed since everyone recognized we were rolling with Buehler quite some time ago.

Out all night for my FF draft. Just got in a saw Beuhler was 4-4! 51 yarder! and a game winner late.

When you can see the kick you'll be amazed by how far the kick was good by. It honestly could have been made from 65 yards--right 'tween the pipes.

and that 51 he cleared it by a good distance as it hit high in the net behind the goal post. I'm feeling very good about him taking over the FG for this team

I kept telling those who were screaming for us to grab Stover before someone else does (by the way, he still is available), we weren't going to bring in another kicker to take away chances for Buehler to prove himself. Stover is proven, we didn't need to see him kick. We needed to see Buehler kick, and that's what we got. I've never been so happy to see field goals kicked in a preseason game than this year.

Did all of his kicks look solid?

Seriously, those were the best 4 kicks I've ever seen. The one from 51 was the prettiest kick I've ever witnessed.

And yes, there was a question mark regarding his consistency.

Anyone watching last night would tell you he's consistent.

I just searched youtube with no luck. But it could be on NFL.com or something. Also, Beuhler is even more special because he's actually a force running down the receiver in the return game.

Great guy to have. Most kickers don't impact your team like that.

At this point, I don't see him going after a KR unless he gets all the way out to him to avoid injury.

True. Perhaps we'll see some Beuhler hits though. A guy who can kick that far has to be able to lay some wood too. The dude is a freaking beast. And I hate using that word. It's peevish.

I'm sorry for ever thinking this. I should have trusted in Boniol though. I like how Jerry went to him for coaching. Good move on that one.

What were the distance of the other 3 field goals ?
I know the one was a 51 yarder.

Thanks....
