Jerry always had a change of heart the next day. He'll remember the sleepovers and fun times during the regular season, and that will be good enough for him. Roll back the same trash.

The only thing that would’ve made yesterdays embarrassment more tolerable would’ve been waking up to the news of some people getting fired. Thanks Jerry

Even if Jerry starts firing people, he's gonna take his sweet *** time doing it.

Urgency is not a concept Jerry seems to understand.
You'd think an 80 year old would develop a sense of urgency. But I guess that would make him too uncomfortable.

Jerry needs time to make some phone calls to see who would be interested. He may not have any takers. Recently, coaching for the Cowboys has been bad for one’s legacy.

I am sure Jerry is seeing who and what is out there. He will see who is willing to come work with him, that alone could knock the HC candidates down to a few. I think if Jerry thinks he has a better option than McCarthy for HC, he will make the move.

The way everyone was talking yesterday Jerry would have rolled out of bed in his jammies held a press conference firing everyone including the waterboy's
I would be ok with Jerry having breakfast, taking a sip of good bourbon, dressing up, going to The Star........then calling for Big Mike to bring his ##$# in the office.......and then my TV having "Breaking News" on it. I'm waiting.

I was really bummed to wake up this morning and not see McCarthy fired.

DQ is as good as gone anyway. Seattle probably removed Carroll to free him up a seat. And MM is the playcaller on offense, so he doesn't have a scapegoat to fire there. I am guessing he gets axed.

Like I said in another thread... there comes a point where you just can't imagine a HC coaching a certain team any longer. If MM is announced as the Cowboys 2024 HC, what are you thinking. "Great. Another beatdown next January." Most importantly, the players will be thinking it. It's just not tenable.

Stranger things have happened in Jerry World... I thought Garrett hit that "no longer tenable" point around 2013, where you couldn't imagine him coming back and clapping for another season. But overall, I think McCarthy is gone before dinner today.

This, thought something definitely by this morning. Tells me a lot, like Jed isn’t going to do anything.

Jerry made a lot of money yesterday, probably looking at a smaller boat to put on his big boat. He is completely satisfied.

Jerry is nursing s hangover until midafternoon. He's still muttering "wheesh playingsh Shan frisco."
By evening is when heads start rolling.

“But the other byproduct of this game is that Dan Quinn’s stock fell precipitously with the divebombing performance of his D. Six touchdowns allowed in the first seven Green Bay possessions, and a defense that looked totally non-competitive in the biggest game of the year. That’s not going to help Quinn in Seattle. Nor will the Dallas defense in the final seven games of the year: 25 points and 353 yards allowed per game.”

I think Seattle already committed to Quinn when they forced Carroll out.
