Let's be realistic here. There's no logical way to save the season with a few trades and shifts. There are too many holes/issues aside from the inept play-calling, the underperforming of players, and the mismanagement of the front office. Any trades right now would only damage future seasons because it would take away draft picks.

After this off-season, I doubt many people here truly believed this team capable of making it to the SB. Right now, the season can be viewed as "Let's given the newer guys a chance to get experience and we can see what we have in them" as plans are made for the future. I'm sure some of the management is in this mindset. Is Jerry? It's either that or he's sniffing some premium grade Copium. I don't think he's THAT dumb though. I think at this point he realizes they're screwed and was talked out of making big changes to try to salvage this season at the expense of the future.

In fact, All the non-moves since the Green Bay game seems a deliberate action. There's no saving this season. It is what it is. Don't buy tickets, don't buy merchandise, just try to enjoy the little successes as you watch this season. Those who have season tickets are going to sell tickets to fans of the other teams either way, so Jerry already got his money and will get butts in the seats. I'm not saying don't keep up the pressure on Jerry. Please do, but don't facilitate him being able to do the same thing by buying his merchandise.

I’d be fine with them making trades. My only worry is them getting fleeced. I’m trading Micah for two 1st and a 3rd. I’m trading OSA for a 4th.
They’ll be quicker to trade for a player than they will to unload any. With Jerry I can see a splash where he trades a 1st before I see him trading away Parsons or Osa.

Jerry will stay the course and get his medicine when Cowboys games are flexed out of primetime, other games are relegated to noon kickoffs, and no one is talking about the Cowboys on ESPN "debate" shows.

He's going to start seeing less microphones in his face for his post-game comments.

I don’t know why people think if you stop buying merchandise you’ll hurt Jerry. NFL revenue is shared by every single team. Stadium tickets doesn’t even pay the electric bill for the stadium. Economics learn it before you think you are going to hurt somebody.

Im actually hoping for a trade just to see how much dumber this front office can get.
Oh, the potential is truly deep. The FO philosophy reminds me of the idiom, 'One step forward and two steps back.' They realize a need for change, but lack the insight and self discipline to make successful choices.

Yeah, it's a train wreck. Who's in first place in snake oil sales?
It would be stupid to trade draft choices to improve this roster. Jerry and company need to suffer the consequences. Then let the new coaches get a fresh start with a boatload of draft choices and cap space.

The nature of snake oil is to be able to sell anything, so I wouldn't put it past the Joneses to try to sell a season "savior." They'll trade for one player and it will be our season saved.

what gave it away?
that they haven't done anything...or that they haven't done anything.
the owner needs to fire the gm.
nothing else matters.

Condescending much? Here's a thought, genius. Jerry CONSTANTLY mentions Jersey sales, which means he pays close attention to it. If that's the case, a huge drop in those sale will absolutely catch his attention. People in the seats of the stadium is also something he pays attention to. He's a narcissist so anything that makes him look bad catches his attention. Human nature: Learn it before you get all condescending and make yourself look like a fool.

Again, go to school learn some economics I’m not condescending, I’m stating facts. Ticket sales doesn’t even pay the electric bill lol scalpers make the money, I’m not the one that’s looking like a fool , jersey sales, LMAO NFL property. Do I need to school you on everything? There’s an NFL logo on the jersey not a Jerry logo. Lol.

I’m actually hoping they dump a couple of guys at the deadline, not be buyers, as this season is shot anyway.

A team that relies on the draft only to improve should be doing things to obtain more picks, not trade them away.

Maybe that doesn’t make sense for some of you, but what part of their plan….whatever that may be….really does?

If the FO can totally punt on an entire season, I don’t see why fans shouldn’t.
It makes good sense to trade for draft picks.

Face it fellow fans. The Cowboys are rollin with this personnel and roster for the rest of the year. There will be no trades, no hidden gems, and no resurgence. JJ has made it clear that this year is not a priority. He’s the second biggest snake oil salesman in the USA.
Remember Green Bay. ALL IN.
Wow crazy another Jerry Jones post you need it all to yourself like there's not 75 other ones about being unhappy with Jerry Jones the owner and GM and the front office and the roster and the way the seasons going but hey thanks for another one we really appreciate it I get to up my post count you're welcome..,

No insight, self discipline or common sense. They took more than 2 steps back this offseason! It’s a half a step forward and 3 back with these clowns!

Maybe the season can or can't be saved but when you're 1 1/2 games out of first place or whatever it's gonna be after this week 'cause we were off and you have about 6 starters coming back and the way other scenarios can happen with other teams and their injuries I think 8 total players are all coming back so it may not seem like a savior but this season is not over you might think it is and maybe you should pack it up for the year go on vacation from the Dallas Cowboys and let some fans who are still interested in the season follow the rest of the 11 games we have left starting next week yes it feels like it's over but it was three and five in 2018 not realized we got Mark Cooper but we are getting a lot of players back they're all coming back we haven't lost a single player for the season I get it it may seem like they're not gonna help because of the way the season started but this is not over and if he's a snake oil salesman why do you have your name with the Cowboys in it and why are you in a place posting about the Dallas Cowboys and why are you wasting valuable time posting about the Dallas Cowboys I just really wanna know why you came in just to let us all know you're unhappy which by the way I bet there 75 on the 1st 10 pages all about the same thing...

If you wanna bash Jerry, I don’t have a problem with that , but at least be smart about it. He’s a horrible GM. He’s a genius businessman. And nothing you or I can do. It’s going to hurt that. I don’t care how many tickets jerseys or anything else you purchase , or don’t purchase. the NFL the revenue, it’s not all going to Jerry. Jesh

I thought all the complaining and finger pointing by fans was gonna save the season....you just burst my bubble. Thanks a lot!!
You mean the protest fire the GM the the fact that it's not working and the more people complain the more Jerry digs in? You mean it's having no effect when people bring poster boards and signs to the stadium and say they're unhappy or they Boo and it's still not changing I don't think that's ever worked for any team in any sport ever in the history of sports the fans think they have that much sway the thing they need to do is just walk out stadiums... I wanna see people spend that kind of effort like they do in here buy tickets fill up the stadium and then 5 minutes into the game every single one of them walk out and waste your money and your time and make sure the media is there to document why you're doing it and start real protests

it would take two or three years of half empty stadiums to affect any team you literally would need to really protest and that means you need to buy the tickets because if you don't buy the tickets somebody else will and they'll fill it up whether it's another fan of Dallas Cowboys or a fan of the other team what you have to do is really invest in this protest and buy tickets to every game and then organize a true walk out/..

It would take more than 3-3 and three start which by the way Prescott when he's healthy hasn't been part of a single losing season the Dallas Cowboys are actually a winning team when it comes to the regular season they've been in the top 6 for a very long time when you win 36 games two division titles and you go to the playoffs 5 out of the last eight years and you're being terrible and bad and embarrassment by your own fan base you have to question their perspective..

We're literally sitting there at 500 with 11 games to go and people act like this is the worst thing that ever happened to any team ever after the last three seasons you're gonna need to lose for real for a very long time to have any effect. One year like we had in 2020 when everybody got hurt or you have a year like 2015 where everyone gets hurt you're gonna have a little off year this year might end up being her off year but we have never been a bad team for very long it it will get fixed and I realize everybody wants to go further in the playoffs I want that too I want a deep playoff run I want an NFC championship game like 10 years ago we deserve it as fans but people the way they talk about the Cowboys who are still on prime time all the time who are talked about all the time they act like what we've been doing is like like being a truly bad team we're not even just an average team we're an above average team we're one of the top teams in the league and yes we're having struggles this year.

The things will not change having one start to a year like this and people being upset about it it's a drop in the bucket to have one little blow up on the radio and a few fans using the hashtag fire GM Jerry it's not gonna work unless you put in the work for about 3 years trying to do it.

The injury bug has been a deadly sniper.

Which two squads would you say was the strongest before preseason?

DE's and CB's, right?

You had two All Pro CB's and Jordan playing the best football of his career,

You had one of the best starting DE tandems in the league, one of them a potential DPOY. Their backups were young, promising 2nd round draft picks.

All gone. Wiped out. The starters are now practice squad level talent. They may get Parsons back in a week or two. The others? Even if they could make it back before the end of the season, will it really matter?

Every three or four years, a series of devastating injuries end the Cowboys season before their bye.
