This should be a pre game excuse thread, make it a sticky.

I'm not concerned with Ron Winters and his crew. Refs do not jump offside’s, hold or commit illegal blocks players do and if our players continue to limit these infraction the refs will not throw a flag. It is hard to blame a ref when you see a guy jump offside of hold that is on the player not the refs. If the refs are calling the game the same way for both teams that is all I care about, the rest is in the hands of the players

Your point is noted. But I strongly disagree. His crew has proven they can make a horrendous call that could potentially change the outcome of a game. We could do everything right we need to do to win the game and just like that is could be taken away. Frankly I'm shocked someone in Goodell's office assigned this crew to such a high profile game. Hopefully we will have a big enough lead we won't have to worry about getting screwed. Let's just hope for the best.

Sorry, I never go into any game worried about the refs. They all will make mistakes but unlike some I don't think the refs care who wins or loses in these games they try to do the best job they can and sometimes they will miss a call. I would challenge anyone to go out and try and do that job to the satisfaction of all involved in the game I highly doubt any of us could.

If the refs are calling the game the same for both teams be it calling it close or letting them play then that is the way it is as long as both teams are getting the same treatment from the crew.

Over the last 7 games Dallas has cut down on many bone head mistakes not because the refs but because we have just done a better job of not jumping offside or holding if we continue to do that we will continue to see less flags.

Even if the Boys are perfect, it was not the calls on Dallas that made a difference the last Giants game, it was the non-calls on the Giants.

I like Buck doing baseball games, just not football. He oozes arrogance.

I think the refs will let em play, it will be a playoff type atmosphere. I just hope they call holds on there oline, i really see them struggling this Sunday.

I never said Refs did not miss calls they do. I do not think the refs have it out for the Cowboys either.

I do not think they come into games thinking how can we screw the Cowboys over.

Calls get missed it is part of the game and has been as long as football has been around and it is that way because like players and coaches who also make mistake it is because they are human and subject to making mistakes.

I get mad over calls I think were bad but I never have gone into a game as a player or watching as a fan worried about the refs all I have ever asked out of refs is if you call the game close call it the same for both teams.

Until I hear a reasonable explanation from the league as to why they missed all of those blatant, out in the open, hanging on for dear life holding calls against the Giants, I'll continue to believe there may be something going on with the officiating. Until the NFL puts officials up in the booth to fix the obvious officiating blunders that everyone in the USA saw except for the zebras, there is no reason not to be suspicious.

BTW, I felt the same way as you do for many years, but the NFL has failed to use technology to correct mistakes the viewers can now see clearly from their own living rooms. Until they do so, I will continue to be suspicious when I see pass rushers being tackled and no flag thrown, and a sack being coverted into a pass completion. If the players know someone is watching, they will stop doing it and we will have fair competition.

If that is how you feel well then nothing I will say is going to change that. I do know as long as I have been watching this game which has been over 40 years and the time I was playing the game I have always understood that calls would be missed and there is no perfect solution.

We have instant replay that sometimes is too close to call and fans get upset when it does not go there way. Again I don't think the refs have it out for the Cowboys or any team as far as that goes, I think calls get missed I also know there are many occasions when I feel the ref missed a call only to see on replay that they got it right. Yet no one talks about those situations

Sometimes I don't express myself as clearly as I would like. Even I would never dream in a million years that all of the officials are discriminating against only the Cowboys. And, there are some calls that will be argued about forever because they are simply too close to know what happened one way or the other.

All I'm really saying is that the outcome of games can easily be decided by non-calls, and if the officials on the field are honest and just can't see the blatant, non ticky-tacky offenses taking place, they could easily put an official in a position to see them and call the infraction down to the officials on the field, sort of like they do in the last two minutes.

I dont see alot of holding penalties though, which is a good sign since those are often a judgement call.

I'm all for anything that can help the refs do a better job. I think it is a thankless job to begin with and I also think no matter what is put into place to help them people will still complain about the refs.

Replay was going to cure the problem as we all know it hasn't, it has helped but certainly not a cure all.

Again it is not something that worries me going into a game. I think they do the best they can in a fast moving game

I don't recall the KC game, did we get "home-towned"? If that's how this crew rolls then maybe it is the Cowboys turn to benefit.

I don't remember feeling like the refs had a great hand in that game, so I believe we deserved most of the penalties called, although I admit to having a much better short-term memory than long one.

At least we aren't getting the crew from the Green Bay game.

Good Lord, that officiating crew was one of the worst I have ever seen. They should have been wearing Packer jerseys that day.

If we get that crew in our playoff game, I am going to be beyond pissed.
