The "perception" of the this Cowboys team is that they are gutless and heartless Maikeru-sama. Until they stop melting down and playing like they did last Sun. against Denver and the first half of the Carolina game.....etc..........that perception will exist. They need a blowout against KC to cleanse some of this nonsense and build confidence. Will it happen? More than likely not. It'll be another nail biter...and you know how those usually turn out for this group of underachievers.

No they don't.

This is one of those danged if you do/danged if you don't games.

All they need is a win.

You build confidence by beating top tier teams like the Giants and Colts.

If you are just 2-2 and need to blowout the Kansas City Chiefs to get some confidence, then the season is probably over.

I've already stated that we aren't going anywhere with Wade Phillips. However, I do believe this team will be in the hunt for a Playoff Spot throughout the Season.

I think it is important for this team to go out and execute whoever they are playing.

You are right beating KC should not be a reason to feel everything is going great but for this team to go out and execute their plays both offense and defense with minimum mistakes is important to the mental state of the team.

Frankly Dallas shooting themselves in the foot has been their biggest problem to go out and play without making the mistakes can be a big help to this team right now.

my question to the OP, what have the cowboys done to deserve any respect? you earn respect, you dont just get it because they are the cowboys.

If we lose to KC, this forum will not survive due to server meltdown.

Give Herm credit...he knows exactly how to stay relevant on ESPN.

I think Wade Phillips is the head coach, no matter what happens.

I have a hard time believing that JJ will stick with him at 2-3 and going into the bye week with a loss to one of the worst teams in football, especially in the year he opened his new stadium.

Jerry Jones has never fired a Head Coach during the Season. I just don't he does business that way, whether it is right or wrong.

Besides, who is going to replace Wade Phillips on the Staff?

If he were to promote Jason Garrett, the would make the fans even more bitter.

If Wade Phillips was able to survive the Philadelphia Debacle, he will survive a loss to the Chiefs.
